"Reinier is back on Deeperfect with more of his intricate musicianship, and we have a plethora of interpretations on board in order to keep the palette fresh. 

We start off with the Deep mix which does exactly what it says on the box: Gears fully pulled back, a rocksteady rhythm section, and fragments of riffs from the original leading to the breakdown where more of the grandiose feeling comes into play. 

Gaga turns it completely around and dubs things out with crackling hats and shadowy effects over a sticky bassline while Nicola Calbi goes in a more ethereal direction based on looped melodics. 

And the original is where all guns are blazing, with strong synthesizer action and heavenly arpeggios. It's all about the electronics here, with the track just oozing epicness and a lush breakdown reminiscent of better days. "

Fluffy Junior

Continuing the 'Faith' EP’s underlying theme of uneasy dystopia, “Fluffy Junior” takes a different musical direction. It opens with a solid four-to-the-floor kick, immediately setting an assertive tone. Rolling progressive basslines intertwine with techno influences, while moody electronic drones establish a spacious, abstract landscape. The composition leans toward ambient minimalism, evoking emotion through texture rather than melody.

The tension remains palpable throughout, punctuated by fleeting moments of light that pierce the soundscape during the breakdowns. These subtle bursts of warmth — playful yet overshadowed by the track’s depth — make “Fluffy Junior” an expansive, immersive, and thought-provoking listening experience.

Since Maxime Dangles' contribution to our head honcho Gregor Tresher's 'Breaking New Soil Vol. 7' early 2015 we received several fantastic new oevres from the frenchman. It wasn't easy to decide which ones to release but Sian (Octopus Records) gave us a hand and focussed on 'Fokal' for his remix! Anyway we are proud to release Maxime's debut EP for Break New Soil and  are curious how you share our taste.

Hamburg based Mathias Hatting aka Hatzler doles out a slice of heavy hitting Techno in his Another Life EP, joined by Citizen Kain & Kiko as well as Bulgarian Tech House champ Metodi Hristov.

Collider kicks in with stomping bass and a high energy lead. Instilling an overall dark and dungeon like ambiance, glitched out synth pads dominate the melody, which booms and shuffles before settling on a single rhythm.

Citizen Kain & Kiko team up on the rework, bringing some French flair into the mix. Initiating proceedings is a highly strung, pulsating bassline that buzzes along, dotted with acidical noises and dissolving hi-hats.

Title track Another Life rings in via an undulating synth line, setting in motion a highly mesmerising array of rolling elements that conjure distant, cavernous frequencies. True to its name, the overall setting of the track evokes otherworldly soundscapes as the groove seems to orbit around alien-reminiscing dubs.

On the remix, Metodi Hristov slows down the pace, but keeps up the winding getalong. Metallic synths riff off towards a highly anticipated peak point, following a wavy path streamlined with erratic, ear-piercing synth bites.

All in all, an unhinged four-tracker where the artists’ experimentation makes it great for late-night antics.

Martin Landsky (@ martinlandsky) is no stranger to those with an ear for the finer sounds of electronic music. His discography is a journey through many styles and yet more influential labels - from Mobilee and Systematic, through groove-laden cuts for Upon You, and on to his long association with Poker Flat Recordings that goes back to 2001.

Even with that legacy, 'Being Me' is among his strongest for the label - a tough dancefloor work out loaded with mischievous intent and a swirling, narcotic urgency. 

The Dub Remix reconfigures the track elements into a more dubwise version - space and echo play an increased role, leaving ample room for each element. The third track, 'Norway' - revolves around a crisp and funky groove and sparking, icy synths that cut their way through the mix.

Anyone who’s encountered Christopher Kah’s sounds over the years will know all too well that he’s a multi-talented multi-instrumentalist. 
A true innovator in his field, Kah is a man who takes great pride in ensuring his music is presented in a truly unique format. 
His latest endeavour is RE: SOURCE, a concept where “every track” he explains, “is created with minimum resources”. 
This all comes to light quite brilliantly via his latest, RE: SOURCE 01. Featuring four original tracks, the release also comes backed by four individual videos which demonstrate the producer’s grand knack for live production.

Kicking off matters is the sounds of ‘Blade’. 
Like much of this EP, it’s produced using the Roland TR-8S in conjunction with another of his weapons of choice, the Elektron Digitakt. 
A grandiose and foreboding track with shades of UR at its core, this is trippy techno of the type often emitted from the genre’s godfathers straight out of Detroit.

‘Machine’ is a raw, minimal cut that’s laced with acid from the get-go. Full of muffled vocal patterns, it’s a thoroughly uncompromising spectacle that never lets its guard down for a moment. 
A hypnotic track that’s most definitely suited to peak-time pastures, it’s sure to decimate any dancefloor its let loose on. 
‘Extent’ is next up. A track that ups the ante even further, it’s characterised by its big room capabilities and dramatic overtones. 
Like much of Kah’s best work, it’s not one for the faint of heart, and has already proved a highlight of the French producer’s much-loved live sets.

Culminating the release is the sounds of ‘Warcry’. A gnarly track that’s notable for its restless sheen, it’s full of tantalising claps, snares and a heaving, chugging vibe that ensures the release signs out amongst a general feeling of euphoria. 
A truly captivating release, Kah’s latest is sure to find favour with in-the-know techno heads especially.

Story of the Moon is a superb production of new sounds blended with sheer crowd pleasureless. One of them explosive tracks that ignites the floor.

Yigitoglu uses dark and progressive sounds to open doors into the hearts of his audience. Seasoned in Istanbul’s vibrant scene, he released his first single ‘6 am’ on 1103 Musik Berlin in 2018. Following ‘6am’, ‘Hubble’ was released on Yin Yang Records and was featured on “Yin Yang Anthems 16” later attracting support from Joseph Capriati, Cristian Varela, Luigi Madonna, Paco Osuna, Akira Kayosa
among other household names. His first EP ‘Circle of Sin’ raised to #5 on the Beatport Top100 techno releases and #25 on the overall chart above works from the likes of Hidden Empire, Deborah De Luca and Pleasurekraft. 

He is now working on numerous projects towards establishing his own musical identity in the techno scene.
