reputation as one of New Zealand’s leading techno artists. Known for his razor sharp 
mixing, sonic accuracy, and live audio / video performance makes for a rare and 
memorable experience.
In 2018, Samari launched the infamous Klang party, pioneering the techno movement in 
New Zealand and standing as the country’s longest running techno party.
Following that in 2020 came the release of the kiwi born producers debut album 
HyperNormal on Vein Label records out of Italy.
Now In 2023 Samari returns to Melbourne after almost ten years away. An Ableton 
Certified trainer, producer and techno veteran.

Lively Racket started getting into heavy Electronic music at a very young age with The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Dave Clarke, Dj Rush, Aphex Twin, Carl Cox, Seb Fontaine, Scot Project, Lisa Lashes all big influences for him. From 2005 till 2020 he used the alias "Tek-Nik" & released numerous track on Killertraxx, Stampagavvar & a collab with Vandall on Trancewarez. 

In 2020 "Lively Racket" was created & started making making Hard Techno . Started his own record label called "Lively Sounds" also in 2020. Loves mixing all the Hard genres in his productions & dj sets.

About Me:
6head_slug is a Melbourne based hardtechno DJ/Producer/Promoter, who has been bringing his own unique blend of hard and funky beats to Melbourne's dance floors over the past 19 years.

The beat of the drum and his love for music has driven him from a young age, although It wasn't until 2004 when he brought a set of turntables and his first few records, did he realize that it was what he wanted to do with his life.

Since then he has been refining his sound, and pushing forward in the hope of inspiring others, preaching that 'you don't need to change who you are to fit in in this world...'

In June of 2008 he started "No sleep till bedtime..." A series of parties catering for the harder styles of dance music, which has since played host to some of of Melbourne's best local talent, and special guest interstate DJ's.

2024 sees 6head_slug more focused than ever, as he uses his [nstbt_podcast] series and digital labels to help push the harder sounds of techno in Melbourne, and to share the sounds of Melbourne with the rest of the world!
