So here it is... This is a project that we've been wanting to do for a very long time now. We present to you the first in a series of mixes showcasing a selection of tracks released on our digital label over the years.

We have such a broad range of sounds now encompassing multiple sub genres within the hardtechno and industrial techno sound. With contributions from established and budding artists both from the local scenes, and from all around the globe. 

To look back now over the last 9years of being a label, and to hear the evolution of these sounds and styles, and also the progression of the artists who produced them is very humbling. We are very fortunate to have crossed paths with so many of you. And are very grateful to have been able to play a part in your journeys. 

For the first edition we have label manager 6head_slug​, and fellow Melbourne based industrial darkcore producer and owner of the Nethercords Darkcore​ record label Tyrant X​

About Me:
6head_slug is a Melbourne based hardtechno DJ/Producer/Promoter, who has been bringing his own unique blend of hard and funky beats to Melbourne's dance floors over the past 19 years.

The beat of the drum and his love for music has driven him from a young age, although It wasn't until 2004 when he brought a set of turntables and his first few records, did he realize that it was what he wanted to do with his life.

Since then he has been refining his sound, and pushing forward in the hope of inspiring others, preaching that 'you don't need to change who you are to fit in in this world...'

In June of 2008 he started "No sleep till bedtime..." A series of parties catering for the harder styles of dance music, which has since played host to some of of Melbourne's best local talent, and special guest interstate DJ's.

2024 sees 6head_slug more focused than ever, as he uses his [nstbt_podcast] series and digital labels to help push the harder sounds of techno in Melbourne, and to share the sounds of Melbourne with the rest of the world!

STILLER aka Frederic Stiller was born in 1981 in the nice city of Cologne. Grown up with music which orientated itself rather by punk and rock the qualified logistician always had an open ear for sounds out of the mainstream. At the age of 18 years he discovored electronic music, at that time Goa, at his first parties in the U club (Wuppertal). Then the interest was strengthened on his first “Schranz” - party at TOR 3 (Dusseldorf) which stamped him musically very much.

Some years later he had to recognice the monotony of the track choice in most DJ sets over and over again. That is what motivated him finally in May 2008 to produce his own Hardtechno Styles influenced by the sounds of Waldhaus, Jason Little, FL-X or Robert Natus. In 2009 Frederic decided to send demotracks around and got his first record release with “Schwarzlicht” at the london label DataBlender wich promotes and supports him and his music since that time.

Now the direction which he will smash can be seen coming.
