The insomnia continues... 

The last time we did a label mix was back in 2019, when label manager 6head_slug, and fellow Melbourne based industrial darkcore producer Tyrant X showcased a selection of tracks released on the label up until that point: https://nosleeptillbedtime.bandcamp.com/album/insomnia-mix-001

Since then we have have released: 
- 2 live event recordings from gigs here in Melbourne
- 2 releases on our sister label Master/Slave Records
- 1 remix compilation project (Finally... lol)
- 10 label releases, including a massive V/A compilation
- 42 more [nstbt_podcasts] from local and international DJs 

And so here we are, almost 3 years later for the second installment in our Insomnia label mix series. 

This time around we have label manager 6head_slug, and the DJ/producer duo from Germany: Double Dynamic both dropping a mix each for your listening pleasure. 

Double Dynamic inboxed us on instagram last year, during the live streaming of the event we threw last year. Shortly afterwards they contacted us again, sending us a mix for a [nstbt_podcast]: https://soundcloud.com/6head_slug/nstbt_podcast_072-double-dynamic

Which then later lead to them organising a MASSIVE remix project, that we were then fortunate enough to release for them: https://nosleeptillbedtime.bandcamp.com/album/nagasaki-e-p

On top of all of that, they are currently organising yet another multi artist remix project set for release later this year. They also did a HUGE remix for our good mate Zyphor, which was later released on his well received 'Must Come To An End' release: https://nosleeptillbedtime.bandcamp.com/album/must-come-to-an-end 
(He also returned the favour, with a devastating remix of Nagasaki for them!)

This is what "No sleep till bedtime..." is all about. Coming together, connecting, working together, supporting one another. Not just now, but down the road, as we all grow together. Where ever you are in your journey, there are so many people here willing to work and contribute. It's a beautiful thing to witness.

We are very lucky to be able to work alongside so many talented individuals, both locally and abroad. Inspiring and motivating one another. Learning from each other. What had initially started out as a creative outlet to promote local artists, has now become a larger community of like minded DJs, producers and creatives. And forming friendships and connections the world over that have lasted throughout these years. 

And for that alone we are truly grateful.

BML is based in Frankfurt. He start listen to electronic music in 1999 and was straight a fan of the magic and spirit of this kind of music after his first rave. He listen to different types of electronic music like Industrial Techno, Darkpsy, Hitech, Industrial Hardcore and Terror

Patricio Pereira aka Koda is a Techno and Hardtechno DJ and Producer who began his career in 2002. After a brief period of DJing in local clubs until 2006, he decided to take a long break and dedicate himself to other matters. In 2018 he started producing Techno and Hardtechno, winning some remix competitions at labels such as Right Music Records and Phisical Techno Records, evolving from then on to an acid Techno sound with strong beats and engaging melodies and a very aggressive hardtechno reaching bpms of 170 + with cinematic atmospheres, strong beats and distorted percussions, thus gaining his signature in both Techno and Hardtechno, earning the admiration and respect of his peers who occasionally invited him for remixes and collaborations.
He also have two youtube channels dedicated to the promotion of less known and established producers and labels achieving a much more wide audience on both Techno and Hard Techno genres.

About Me:
6head_slug is a Melbourne based hardtechno DJ/Producer/Promoter, who has been bringing his own unique blend of hard and funky beats to Melbourne's dance floors over the past 19 years.

The beat of the drum and his love for music has driven him from a young age, although It wasn't until 2004 when he brought a set of turntables and his first few records, did he realize that it was what he wanted to do with his life.

Since then he has been refining his sound, and pushing forward in the hope of inspiring others, preaching that 'you don't need to change who you are to fit in in this world...'

In June of 2008 he started "No sleep till bedtime..." A series of parties catering for the harder styles of dance music, which has since played host to some of of Melbourne's best local talent, and special guest interstate DJ's.

2024 sees 6head_slug more focused than ever, as he uses his [nstbt_podcast] series and digital labels to help push the harder sounds of techno in Melbourne, and to share the sounds of Melbourne with the rest of the world!
