The one I loved the most out of all of my 
tedious toxic tangos;
The only one who could properly rot my soul
and ripen my mangoes-
A David Lynch fan, so I guess I figured 
he understood the dope-kink kaleidoscope 
of perception 
He loved me deep, all those upside down
face-fucks with Robin's wonder boy-
closet aggression 
He gave me silly-sweet pet names and 
carefully never spoke my real one
He once traced my spine with his double-
tongue planning how to steal one

But unlike Vegas,
what happens in a poet's cave,
never stays in the poet's cave.
We tend to release
the bats

We don't need trendy capes
or ego-mobiles
We just catch a ride 
with Life

These lyrics tell the story of a girl named Bonnie who used to have big dreams and a bright, shining spirit but lost her way after going through tough times and heartbreak. The repeated line, "Oh Bonnie, where did you go?" shows the sadness and longing for the person she used to be. Bonnie was once full of light, "shining like the sun," but now she's just a shadow of her former self. The song is a mix of remembering who she was and hoping that she can find her way back and bring that light back into the world.
