Alien Art is the new music project from Ace Ventura & Captain Hook. With Alien Art Reshef Harari & Yoni Oshrat engage warp speed and bridge time & space to explore the depth of Psychedelic Trance Music. Using traditional recordings with out-of-the-box gear, creating a sound that is both analog, futuristic and heavily psychedelic, Yoni & Reshef are delving into the roots of Psytrance and exploring the future at the same time. Alien Art immerses Sci-Fi themes, extraterrestrials soundscapes and primal tribal rhythms, which focus on the dancefloor but also offer enough depth to expand your headspace away from it.

Matt Halls is a techno DJ and producer from Cape Town, South Africa, crafting deep, hypnotic soundscapes that blur the lines between analog grit and digital precision. His musical roots trace back to his early days as a drummer in a metal band, eventually evolving into a love for electronic music that balances raw energy with emotional depth.

Since launching his DJ project in 2017, Matt has shared stages with global heavyweights like Amelie Lens, Ben Sims, Sama’, Juliet Fox, and HVOB, alongside South African icons such as Killer Robot, Bruno Morphet, and Dogstarr. A career highlight includes headlining the legendary Rocking the Daisies festival in 2018.

Driven by a passion for immersive, floor-shifting experiences, Matt’s sets are a journey—dark, textured, and always alive.

Founded in 2008 by Dj Kikx, Purple Hexagon Records is a full-spectrum psychedelic music label that supports and is supported by the passion and enthusiasm of many psytrance aficionados around the world. Unpretentious and underground, this international grassroots label promotes psychedelic music, Djs and artists, showcasing the diverse talents of many of the party worlds unsung heroes - real and dedicated individuals making massive contributions to their respective local scenes in their own unique and special ways.

Just as mushroom mycelium links the whole world through invisible threads that grow day by day, Purple Hexagon believes that music can act as a bond that develops strong connections and positive friendships between communities and cultures.
