A Raw, unpolished rendition of another "remembered" cover, one of my favorite songs of all time.  This time I recorded the scratch track with the zoom h1 essentials with a metronome on my phone only as guide.. Pulled it up on Logic Pro, and then did the voice and the electric guitar at the same time, using the two inputss of the Volt 276.  One is the P170 condenser pencil mic on the guitar amp (guitar amp running a slow tremolo and the skyfurfer reverb), and the other input the P420 large condenser about a feet from me and my electric.  Did the main vocals and the chime-like spread triad guitars.   Then I overdubbed a couple of acoustic tracks with the p170 trained on the acoustic and left the p420 there for room and ambience tone.  Recorded dry in logic, and then added some presets to the vocal tracks and the acoustic guitar.  On the main stereo out added a space designer 0.7s room reverb and then whatever the mastering algorithm gave me.  I am trying to achieve an intimate rehearsing room the aesthetic. Gear: Brawley Guittar with P90's on neck pickup, AMP is a Behringer V-AMP on the tweed setting running the TC electronic choka tremolo and the skysirfer reverb on the effects loop. Creep (Radiohead cover)

I recently discovered a love for analog pedals, and this is an experiment.  I recorded this straight from the amp with a zoom h1 essentials.  Opened in Logic Pro and added the synth pad via the musical typing keyboard.   No added effects on Logic Pro, other than the synth pad defaults.  (I believe it was the cloud shimmer pad or something like).   This is the start of documenting weird, experimental sounds.  The distortion fuzz and overdrive are three different pedals by tc electronic: the honey pot, the grand magus, and the cinders overdrive -- they go into a choka tremolo and then a skyfurfer reverb on plate mode - plugged in into an old behringer analog modeling amp the V-tone GM110.  Settings on the amp: tweet, us speakers.  No drive (gain) master volume at about 5, bass mid and treble at about 5.   The guitar used is a SANTANA SE with a SD distortion pickup in the neck (which I never cared for much until last night). ----
