Welcome to 7th Storey Recollective, our new sister label dedicated exclusively to previously unreleased and re-issued classics from the 1990's!

Kicking us off with our first offering are two incredible tracks from the man like Model (Intelligent Minds, Abstrakt Mindz, Liquid & Model & HLS).  

Both produced in 1995, and previously unreleased, these tracks are true unearthed gems of the atmospheric jungle genre.

On the 'A' side is 'Jupiter', an epic, ethereal track - featuring beautifully blissed out atmospherics and razor-sharp drum work, sit back and prepare to be taken on a journey though the clouds...

Turning to the 'B' side we find 'Surroundingz', clocking in at over 9 minutes this has a slightly darker vibe - with haunting pads woven into it's fabric of complex breaks.

Pressed on 12" black vinyl, and complete with full colour sleeve designed by Model himself.

WR4ITH hails from Liège and has loved music ever since he was a kid; from classical to electronic, hip hop to jazz, he listens to absolutely everything. 

He discovered Drum & Bass in the 2000s through the DNB Arena compilations, picking up a few CDs left and right, and fell completely under its spell in 2008 when he went to his first DnB party, during a set by Andy C and MC GQ.

Feeling out of place at techno and electro events, he began favouring DnB nights, bought his first turntables around 2013, and started DJing. 

He has been playing in Belgium for Kabelsalat/Out Of Control,  Kiosk Radio (BXL), 9000 Snakez (Ghent), Black Teeth Records/Radio (Sint Niklaas), Bad Station, No Name Festival (La Nature), Bass Addict, Revolt and D6Belgium, at Reflektor, Kultura & Studio 22, as well as for the Bastardz crew in Lille to name a few 

His sets are generally Drum & Bass, Jungle, Jungle Tekno & UK Hardcore.

7th Storey Projects was founded in 2009 by Simon Hesford as a passion project with a focus on unearthing and re-releasing classic old skool hardcore, jungle, and drum and bass music from the 90s. Inspired by the iconic labels Ninety Two Retro and Sublogic Recordings amongst others, the label initially aimed to help maintain interest in these iconic sounds and prevent them from fading into obscurity. However, over time, 7th Storey Projects evolved as much into a platform for modern-day productions that capture the essence of these older styles, driven by the wealth of new musical talent that needed a space to showcase their work.

In 2011, the label expanded by launching an online store, which not only sold its own releases but also featured music from other independent labels. This move helped increase the label’s visibility and contributed to its involvement in the wider underground music community.

A significant moment in the label’s history came with the launch of the Globex Corp series in 2016, which showcased the incredible talents of Tim Reaper and Dwarde, among others.

The series quickly became a success, running for ten volumes and further establishing 7th Storey Projects as a respected name for modern takes on the classic sounds of hardcore, jungle, and drum and bass.

Over the years, 7th Storey Projects has collaborated with an impressive roster of influential artists, including Tim Reaper, Coco Bryce, Equinox, The Invisible Man, FFF, Peter Darker (Kid Lib), Sonar’s Ghost, and many more, releasing music that spans from authentic nostalgic throwbacks to fresh, modern interpretations of old skool sounds.

After taking a hiatus from 2021 to 2025, 7th Storey Projects is now returning with renewed energy, continuing its commitment to supporting artists who bridge the gap between the past and present in the world of hardcore, jungle, and drum and bass.
