With Artists from all over the world such as Poly Chain, Mogwaa, Jacques Satre, Jai, DJ Normal 4, Imogen Soundsystem [Ilija Rudman and Antonio Zuza], Gee Dee, Rambal Cochet, Listensport, Johnmon
and Hektisch Sprengen DJs.

Every track has its own spirit, in a kind of a 90s journey way.
The compilation is a fascinating mixture of weird cosmic and slow goa sequences to more emotional places with powerful bassdriven downtempo techno and slightly trance influenced anthems as well as distinctive tribal acid easiness with melancholic pads and epic melodies.
Furthermore it involves faster loaded minimal hypnotic synth sounds and dark UK-House with a big-beat touch to it. Raw liquid floating sharp breaks melts into rave stompers which are inhabited by sensitive living microbes vibrating jungle atmospheres.

We are proud to present our first Various Artist compilation where we celebrate the different eras of house music being our strongest label genre influence. On this release you will find the raw, the deep, the classic and the contemporary sound of Ritmo Terco.

The compilation starts with “Open The Sky” a trippy deep acid house by Joint4Nine who delivers his classic sound signature of broken beat programming and his particular way of sampling soul music which drives us into a mysterious and mind-blowing journey. The second track is a classic ravy feel good house where Jonahlo manipulates voices and creates special atmospheres with different harmonic changes in a unique way, letting us get into “That Feeling” of connecting with the people and music on a late night rave. Next in the line is our favorite duo Rush City who deliver two old school and vanguard tracks; “Interdance”  is an 80’s house music tribute where 909 hypnotic drums patterns, catchy TB303 acid bass lines and progressive arpeggios make the perfect track for the dance floor. Last but not least “The Future Is Uncertain” is an electro broken beat track with sounds from far beyond of stratosphere that alludes a travel out of space.
 

The V.A cover art  was designed by the great painter and jazz musician Sebastian Arango  from Bogota (Colombia). “Laberintos” is an oil on canvas masterpiece that he describes as: “To calm my anxiety and express my truth, I had to learn to love more the process than the final result by crossing mind and emotional labyrinths. You can only get out of it iuntil you accept you’ re lost”.

PREMIERE : Rush City - The Future Is Uncertain

'Barcelona 92' is the second EP from Madrid 79 in fuego en casa after 'Aciday'. Four tracks of old Electro-Techno. While 'Aciday' depicted a day in an imaginary Madrid in the 80s, 'Barcelona92' talks 30 years after the olympic games about an alternative reality past of Barcelona where robots did sport and dance while the original town was destroyed for something more modern.

Made up live with analogue synths basslines and acid bleeps, the four tracks of the EP develop techno electro beats for the dancefloor.

It starts with Barcelona 99 with heavy 909 routines and plenty of optimism about the future. Continues with Barcelona 95 developing the electro synths when the city is built and the robotic athletes are in. Continues with the happy acid of Barcelona 98 in the B side and the EP finalises with a whole bleep acid experience : the party is over and the city as well.

Ultra rare techno trance from the UK’s Alan Hill. Elliptical Headz was a once off project that flawlessly blends lush synthesis with tasteful exotic sampling and robust drum programming. Originally released on Junkanoo Recordings in 1993, all tracks have been faithfully remastered for modern use and licensed in collaboration with the artists family.

The month of March 2023 is such a significant and meaningful one for Dubblack, by cause of the second release of its young, yet incredibly promising catalogue, which will star Tagliabue and his three-track EP DUBBLACK002 (out both on vinyl and digital forms).
The record, which perfectly fits in the sonic context that the label and its founder GNMR are trying to form, superbly symbolises the essence of Dubblack with its deep, mysterious electronic attitude, thus making Tagliabue an ideal ambassador of this sound.

The Milanese DJ & producer -during the length of his EP- tells a story of masterly arranged, diverse and rhythmically solid tunes, giving evidence of the enormous care that he puts into the sound research underlying each and every one of his productions, and Dubblack002 makes no exception.

The opening track ‘Odissea’ lays the groundwork for the record to rise, with a cryptic intro which breaks out in a progressive detonation, referring to a late 90s/early 00s sound but interpreting the scenario with a modern, actual twist. ‘Baraka Trance’ keeps the standard high and, as the title suggests, offers the artist’s POV on the Trance matter with a high-tempo, neatly arranged beat and a slightly acid bass-line, both creating a constantly evolving eight minutes-long acoustic journey. ‘A Oltranza’ slows the pulse but doesn’t decrease the pressure with captivating rhythmics perfectly blended with an avant-garde harmonic section; a complex but never baroque arrangement that constantly holds the listener on the rope.

B2. TAGLIABUE - A Oltranza

In the mystical realm of Melodica, the renowned music producer Bozzwell Bradley ruled over the vibrant domain of the Voodoo Discoteque. This enchanted studio was a haven for both mortal musicians and magical beings alike. Bozzwell possessed a rare gift for infusing his music with the essence of the fantastical, creating tunes that transported listeners to realms beyond their wildest imaginations.

One moonlit night, a shimmering figure named Aurelia, a celestial being from a distant star, appeared at Voodoo Discoteque 68 Records. Her ethereal voice resonated with the power to bend reality itself. Captivated by her celestial melodies, Bozzwell offered to collaborate with Aurelia, eager to channel her divine essence into his enchanting compositions.

As their musical collaboration unfolded, the studio transformed into a kaleidoscope of magic and wonder. The melodies they created unleashed a cascade of sparkling stardust, painting the air with vivid colors. The very walls of Voodoo Discoteque 68 Records pulsed with celestial energy.

News of this celestial collaboration spread like wildfire throughout Melodica, drawing creatures from far and wide to witness the ethereal spectacle. Elves danced with glee, unicorns pranced in rhythm, and dragons hummed harmonies that resonated in the hearts of all who heard them.

The enchantment that Bozzwell and Aurelia wove together was a testament to the boundless power of music. It united beings of all walks of life, bridging the gap between mortal and magical, and reminding them of the universal language that dwelled within their souls.

In the end, the music of Bozzwell Bradley and Aurelia became legendary, forever etching their names in the annals of Melodica's history. And the melodies of Voodoo Discoteque 68 Records continued to echo through the ages, carrying the magic of their collaboration into the hearts of all who listened.

Dusting off some old Dat Tapes in Bozzwells Studio, this hidden gem was found  forged above  a spoon factory at Stag Works, Sheffield by Bozzwell and Chris Bradley, (Lex Records artists and Lights Down Low promoter ) , Voodoo Discoteque throbs.

Released on 68 Records on 22nd May and streaming on all digital devices.
