The 5th episode is who I believe is the current unsung hero of the Yorkshire hard dance scene, Roze. He’s the promoter of Dioxide which features the most diverse set of DJ’s across the board because he knows what people want, he’s versatile when it comes to dj’ing too so you’ll never know what genre of music he’ll play from set to set and has recently dipped his toes into producing which you’ll hear on his guest mix. He single handedly pulled me out of retirement having been trying for the past 3 years haha so without Joe I wouldn’t be doing these mixes now so thank you for that mate. Enjoy

Welcome to Episode 6 of The Hard Files. My guest for this episode is Skegster. A known name on the Yorkshire circuit and has played at pretty much every hard dance event you can think of, whether it be in a back room or main arena, he only brought the loudest, bounciest tracks around at that time. He’s now a firm regular at the legendary TFI events and also Dizstruxshon & Uprising. I had the privilege of doing a B2B with him back in 2005 at Uprising (If anyone has this then please call me immediately). Not only is he a wicked DJ, he’s also a man of the people, doing various projects in and around his community especially for younger people. He founded his own under 18’s event JADE (just another dance event) which quickly became the biggest youth event in the UK featuring headline acts from Darren Styles to Tom Zanetti. My guests for this episode are Deckheadz. This mix series / podcast is not only about DJ’s and artists I’ve looked up to and played alongside but also fresh talent and these guys have set the bar with their most unique sounding mixes I’ve ever heard. Tempo changes at the drop of a hat and they leave not one genre of hard dance out, covering all areas through their cheeky quick edits. Having only formed as a duo last year, Lee & Leanne are definitely ones to look out for when the clubs reopen.

No Silence 2021 is a mix series from myself, each one showcasing a different range of genres as I do not have a particular sound and like to showcase a wide variety of genres.

Vol.1 takes on the harder styles. Particularly the UK Hardcore stuff which is what first got me into dj'ing in the late Bonkers era.

Here's the 11th instalment of The Hard Files which features my first international artists, 2 Brothers Of Hardstyle. Hailing from Italy, Jimmy The Sound & Delfromad formed the duo in 2005 when they created their first collab track  "I Love This Record". Heavily influenced by Zenith, The Prophet & Pavo, 2BOH carved their own sounds into the Hardstyle industry playing all over Europe including festivals such as Hard Classics in The Netherlands & Global Mission in Spain. I'm honoured to have them feature a guest mix as they both helped me create my own sounds within my DJ sets.
