Based around the musical talents of Tony Bolton and backed by some of the finest hand-picked players from Manchester’s compelling live music scene, the Eel, Johnny Cash, Pixies inspired ‘A Boy Called Doris’ debut album, ‘I Killed Doris’, presents a diverse and colourful journey through madness.

The new look ‘A Boy Called Doris’ has been forged from the widely tipped band of 2008, which featured the same name but a different line-up – featuring Lorna (drums) and Freddie (bass) from the ‘Disco Nasties’, Sally and Becky from the female harmony act ‘Taylor and the Mason’ as well as Mike Kyle and Dave Soper, and of course, Tony Bolton. Whilst sharing many of the same aspects, A Boy Called Doris now features a darker, more mature soulful edge.
