This summer, GLOWKiD had the pleasure of meeting Manu in person - the founder of MobyNews, the largest unofficial Moby fansite. The two had a great time together in Athens, including an unforgettable night at Release Festival, where they caught an electrifying performance by The Prodigy. GLOWKiD also had the opportunity to sit down with Manu for a brief interview, which is featured alongside an exclusive guest mix curated by Manu in celebration of Moby’s 60th birthday. The result is a special tribute show to Moby, which opens with GLOWKiD’s own glowing mix of some of Moby’s early rave tracks that he personally loves.

"I started the MobyNews project in early 2011 and it quickly became one of the best places for fans to gather information about the bald musician. The YouTube channel in particular is really appreciated thanks to the instrumentals I personally made with Logic Pro and hard to find material. I had many concepts in mind for this mix: I started with the idea to play only rare and unreleased music but I quickly moved to something much more fast and old-school-oriented. In the end I decided to play a selection of, at least in my opinion, hidden gems mixed with instrumentals and unreleased music. I’m very content with the final result even if I made a couple of happy mistakes during transitions, and I hope Moby and electronic music fans will enjoy my mix as much as I do."  - Words by Manu MobyNews

Welcome to my SoundCloud world! I'm deeply devoted to Electronic music specified in Oldskool and Nuskool Hardcore, Breaks, and Jungle, guided by the 'PLUR' ethos and the early 90s rave spirit. Influenced by Eurodance, Breakbeat, Hip Hop, and Hard Trance, with a heartfelt admiration for The Prodigy, my aim is to inspire and invigorate the rave generation.

In my 90s era, a Walkman opened doors to diverse sounds, later fueling my passion for radio production with the birth of Generation X [RadioShow]. Proudly nominated for 'Best Radio Show' at the International Breakspoll Awards 2014 as one of five nominees, I've hosted through the show luminaries like Leeroy Thornhill, Mark Archer, Black Box, Dream Frequency, Liquid, Marusha, Coco Bryce and more.
