These are my newest projects I'm working on, with my newly purchased Sonar x1 producer, I'm loving how powerful the editor is!  Most of the songs are midi, one of them (Hope) features a recorded guitar performance (by me).  I look forward to recording more in the future.

New Projects (Sonar x1)

This song is a sequel song to Childhood, a guitar composition I keep thinking I'll eventually arrange and post.  What started on variations on a theme became it's own original song as I built enough original material I could not successfully meld both songs.  

Faeries (Childhood - Part 2)

This is my first song I composed with Sonar x1.  I usually develop ideas in one place, in this case on the guitar, noodling around.  Here I had 2 different ideas, with differing meters and tempos that i wanted to hash together.  So I input into the computer and broke down my weird rhythms, and layered some piano over it to emphasize and push the ideas into the beginning of a composition.  Not finished, but started enough to share.

Progress

This is an other unfinished work.  Most curiously, I wrote it on the guitar, but on arranging the song in Sonar the samples sounded better recorded in piano.  Another experiment with trying out my new violin sounds, this song has certainly claimed a mood thus far.  I am excited to develop it a little more and form a whole song.

I am a self taught musician, who enjoys composing and playing guitar and piano music, with accompaniment.  I would describe my style as new age/progressive, with some video game, celtic, world, and rock influences.

I compose music on the piano and guitar, and arrange my songs with Cakewalk software.  The majority of songs here on Soundcloud are written with Homestudio 2, before I upgraded to Sonar X1 Producer.  I love acoustic sounds, and want to emulate real instruments with most of my music.
