The "Trial Period" mixtape is a story about the up-and-coming artist Chano De Weever in his attempt to navigate himself and find his voice in the world of music. While growing up in a Christian background, Chano has always been intrigued and influenced by the hip-hop genre. Artists such as J.cole, Kendrick, Saba, Logic played a tremendous role in his life. Over the years, chano has dealt with countless adversities such as mental health or depreciation from his peers and family members, which created uncertainty and self-doubt.  Chano must now face these events while feeling the pressure of living up to the standards of his idols.
