To say that Desert Hearts has completely changed our lives would be an understatement. When we threw our first Desert Hearts party 2.5 years ago we had no idea what we were getting into. Our intimate 200 person gathering in the Mojave Desert has since turned into a cultural movement celebrating love, life, art, and community. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine being at the forefront of something like this but here we are...

A Dub Techno Journey is a compilation that traverses Dantes circles of Hell, transforming them into hypnotic and profound soundscapes. Each track represents a canto from Dantes Inferno, interpreted by producers from different parts of the world, united by a shared sensitivity for dub techno vibrations. The idea was conceived by Francesco Tamburrano, who envisioned a musical journey blending literature and sonic exploration, and took shape through the collaboration with the label Superordinate, always attentive to visionary projects with an international scope. The result is a dark and immersive path, where enveloping basslines and deep echoes guide the listener on a sonic pilgrimage through Dantes Inferno.

Here's a mix I did in June of 2015 exclusively for Access Underground as the second release in their podcast series on Mixcloud. It went to #1 on their Deep House chart, #1 on their Chillout chart & #4 on their Tech House chart.. not too bad! Since this is a more laid back mix I always wished it had been downloadable.. Time to see what’s in there … For this mix I focused on meshing moods and further evolving the Yin & Yang project. It digs deep and travels to the weird, bizarre, sexy, groovy, techie goodness that I’m so obsessed with. The focus was to combine natural and organic sounds with more urban and club grooves. It explores everything from deep and dark to colorful and happy. The balance between man and nature has always been an interest of mine and with all the craziness in the world right now it’s nice to get lost in some music. There’s no better way to turn on and tune out than an old fashion sonic voyage. Enjoy!

This was my debut at Moon Tribe Gathering March 20, 2019 1:30am - 3am. The insane amount of rain the desert has received this year has blessed us with the most beautiful desert landscapes I have seen in California. It was an absolute honor to play my first Moon Tribe with so many wonderful and weird souls. Music brings our community together and the love we all share is what life is all about for me. Enjoy this mix of dirt style groove techno.

I was on opening duties for the December Cold Moon so I warmed up a bit and got to business with some dark techno grooves to keep the bodies moving.
