"In homage to the musical diversity at Dimensions 2016, we’ve embarked on an hour-long exploration of melodies and grooves from around the world, from Libya to Malta, Kenya to Trinidad & Tobago, and much closer to home. There’s also a few odes to the Dimensions lineup in there too, with a 7” from Kai Alcé and remix from Joe Claussel. None may be better suited to crafting eulogies than William Basinski. The composer who graced us with the melancholy masterpiece Disintegration Loops now turns his gaze to David Bowie. Today marks the one year anniversary of Bowie's passing and so we humbly premiere Basinski's tribute 'For David Robert Jones.' This hymn for the music hero will be released January 20th on Temporary Residence Ltd. Keep your ears on RBMA Radio because Los Angeles resident Basinski will soon appear as a guest on Frosty's weekly LAndscape program.

It made a nice change to play some reclined cuts in a club setting before Stamp The Wax hosted Gaussian Curve's live UK debut at The Yard, London.

Some newer bits from Mood Hut, Tornado Wallace, Lord of the Isles and Vermont, alongside some 80's Japanese ambient and a few solo efforts from Gaussian Curve band members Gigi Masin and Jonny Nash. 

Not an exercise in beat matching, but then there were too many beats around to match. Recorded on a Sunday. Best served on a Sunday. Comment if you'd like to know an IDs.

Warm-Up for Gaussian Curve (London ~ 19-02-17)

Harri Pepper was born on the West coast of Wales and brought up in his family run jazz cafe. Later he then relocated to Bristol where he was taken under the wing of record label Piff Records and Timbuk2 club manger, DJ and Producer Marco Bernardi.

Since playing at the first ever event for the esteemed blog Stamp the Wax back in 2013, Harri was soon welcomed as consigliere and chief resident DJ. Working on creative set design and event production for the team, Harri’s love for the party doesn’t go un-noticed.

Known for his eclectic taste, cruising warmups and hectic closes Harri Pepper has built up a reputation for his no-nonsense party starting. Harri holds a monthly residency at Bristol’s renowned bar The Love Inn under Slix Disco with fellow companion Admin, these high energy disco parties are not to be missed. Having recently moved to London you can catch him on rotation at Rays’s Bar where he plays all night long.

2 1/2 hours with the Bali sunset at hands-down the most breath-taking venue I've set foot in. 

Potato Head has such amazing musical curation for a beach bar and 5* resort. If something like this was opened in Europe it would soon be ruined by money and snobbery but they've managed to build something that's both classy and welcoming. Big love to Dan, Pete, Dea and everyone else who looked after me on the trip.
