WATCH VIDEO ON YOUTUBE: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PahA9cOWJe4) During my first trip to Italy, I brought my DJ gear with me, hoping to play or record a set. I ended up creating a single, split set across two incredibly beautiful cities: Florence (Tuscany) and Positano (Amalfi Coast), recording from two very picturesque Airbnbs.

How I did it:
While traveling to Florence, I curated a selection of tracks to serve as the beginning of a melodic progressive house set. I then recorded the first half of the set live on camera.
Later in the trip, on my way to Positano, I prepared the second half of the set and recorded it live. To ensure a seamless transition between the two locations, I made sure to capture the merging song from both ends, recording both audio and video to help me blend the split sets together.

My gear:
I brought my MacBook Air, my Traktor Z1 controller and used the free earbuds that I got on the airplane lol. I also had my GoPro with me to grab the main footage and used my pixel 6 to get some b-roll before and after my sets.

The result was a melodic progressive house set from the heart.
