Volsent has explored a plethora of music genres, all feeding into his current combination of disturbed sound, based on powerful kicks, funk and breaks, augmented with classical melodies. His journey as an electronic music producer began with hip hop and jungle breaks, eventually leading down a path to his curren industrial sound. Today, Volsent's music is characterized by a modular, synth-heavy approach to sound design, fusing heavy beats with thick, distorted synth riffs. He joined the London electronic experimental scene in 2010. Surrounded by crazy musicians and toy circuit benders, he found himself in an underground community that helped him explore and develop a passion for analogue equipment. As a performer, he believes in the power of live analogue performances. This allows him to shape sound for the dancer, generating potentially unexpected switches
