My first show of my new residency on @1btnradio, 6pm-8pm UK (7-9pm CET), 101.4FM in Brighton or via 1BTN.FM online. Tonight is dedicated to the maverick fox and one of my oldest and best friends, Alex aka ‘Aslam’, who has left his incarnate– The physical world failed you my friend, but the energetic one welcomes you back.

In honour of our time together trying to blend disparate genres in the flat we shared in the Pembury estate, Hackney. This show is a sonic collage of music, poetry, and edits with no boundaries, a bit like the good soul himself.

Join me for a 2 hr special on @1btnradio to celebrate the pre-release of my new LP: The Wampís of Guayabal & Aboutface – Los Bosquesinos, a collaboration with @nacionwampis, exploring 4 songs sung from the perspective of animals—living as people do, in communities—experiencing love, loss, and sentient connection.

100% of sales of the gatefold bio-vinyl go directly to the community to help them confront illegal gold miners who are destroying their Amazonian territory, which also impacts the delicate global carbon balance.

I’ll be playing a few songs from the release alongside other music related to Indigenous cosmovision and the rights of non-humans (plants, animals, and spirits) to have the same rights as humans: to live, thrive, and not be treated as a resource to be exhausted or exploited for human gain.

people, featuring 100% co-created music and conversation about the project and how it was
developed. Celebrating the release of their collaborative album Los Bosquesinos, the show
raises awareness—and vital support—for the Wampís Nation as they resist ecocide, including
illegal gold mining, across their 1.3 million hectares of globally significant rainforest territory. To
