When VΛLKYRIE released his track Blossom I was mesmerised by it and wanted to remix it but never really got far with it. So then I thought I'd ask yettz if he wanted to collab on a remix and then 3 hours later we came up with this. There really isn't much else to tell apart from that as it was such a quick and fluid process to get this done. We also went for a more rough and 'homegrown' approach to the creation of this track so we've got loads of distortion lmao but its a nice contrast to how sweet the original is.

Here I am proud to present my remix of one of my favourite of Kase's tunes, 'Escape'. I've been working on this one without anyone knowing (except Kase obviously lol cos he gave me the stems) to surprise everyone with another wave-ish tune. 

When Kase first asked me to remix this I was a bit stumped because I had no idea what direction to take it. I could've gone up to 175 for a HHC remix or 160 for a nxc-type rave remix but in the end I decided to take it down to 130 bpm when I came up with the first drop idea. I then thought that the original Future Bass drop might sound good slower so I took the synths from the original drops and re-mixed them down with my drums and basses to create the second drop as a homage to the original tune.

I'm super pleased with how this came out and so is Kase so I guess thumbs up all round. I would also like to take this opportunity to quietly announce that Kase and I are working on an EP together that is comprised of some of the heaviest stuff either of us have ever made but more info on that soon.

The artwork is a screenshot (edited by me) of one of my favourite scenes of the third Madoka Magica film. It's not really that heavily plot filled of a scene but I love the way its shot and all the artwork in it.

so basically i got a ringtone pack from nintendo (mynintendo or something... i cant really remember) and this snippet of the water theme from Luigi U was on there... cant lie, ive never played Luigi U but i assume its super similar to mario bros U. anyway i whipped this up when i was bored a few months back and had nothing to do with this any more so i thought while my page was dry of fresh tunes id put this up as like some sort of filler arc.

so yea its short and not to great but lmao i wanted to do something with it so it fits haha. oh yea i repitched it on the off chance it gets clocked by the SC ID system.

This is a track I've working on for a few months now and then sitting on for another few weeks on top of that. When I first heard the guitar riff from Bare The Water, I knew it could make a wavy track so I sampled it and chopped it up, added a few sounds and then added a beat to it but that was kinda it cos I just ran out of steam. A few weeks later my uni buddy Baitz hit me up to do a collab so I sent him the stems and the track grew from there. He added a bunch of synths to which I added some more whilst also structuring and mixing things. This collab turned out really well and I'm super pleased with the result.

 The track gets its name from the series I used for the little sample before the second drop section, Zeta Gundam also being the name of the Gundam in the cover art. There was no particular reason for sampling the line from the series other than I'd been waiting for a song to use it in for aaages, since I first watched it.

So pretty much for this chops ting I heard the lullaby that Vignette sings in one of the Gabriel Dropout episodes and instantly thought it'd make a great sample for a chops beat so I immediately ripped it and left it on my desktop and then forgot about it (lmao). When I was purging my messy af desktop the other day I found the sample again and instantly got to work on it and about 1 hour and a bit later I came up with this. As I was listening back to it I thought that it could kinda pass as an xmas tune so I decided to drop it today (17/12/25).
Anyway, enjoy yourselves and hopefully I can drop another tune on new years.

So with this track [pronounced ro-ze] I had actually already assembled and chopped the sample way before I ever started ☆ｗｅｌｃｏｍｅ☆ but I couldn't get a good flow out of the chops so I ended up leaving the project file and coming back to it weeks later. As such I ended up kinda copying myself and coming up with a very similar pattern in the verses but had a different drop. I even had the instrumental chopped to the same pattern so I could have an instrumental outro. To be honest that's all there really was to it, its not a particularly complex tune at all but its catchy and sounds good... and that's kinda all I want out of chops really. 

I chose Dear Me to sample in particular because Rize is the only character singing on it and its got some pretty interesting lyrics (even though that doesn't translate at all to the chops) but the main reasoning for sampling this tune was the fact that there were plenty of sections with no drums that I could easily sample.

Also HUGE shouts to my g emotegi for doing this artwork for me, it looks damn stunning and even better than I thought it would so again, thanks emotegi.

I am very pleased to finally put out this track as its one I've had finished for a couple months now. I had actually already got the sample for ロゼ [Roze] and was thinking about making a b-side to it sampling a different Rize character song but I was struggling to get crotchet long drum-free samples from her other songs, either that or other characters were on the song. I ended up using the most obvious song from the series, being the OP however I used the version with only Rize on it so it kinda works out. 

As for the chops I kinda just followed the flow of the chorus for the drop section and just pulled nice sounding phrases for the verses. That's it, nothing too complicated but its catchy af imo.  

Also HUGE shouts to my g emotegi for doing this artwork for me, it looks damn stunning and even better than I thought it would so again, thanks emotegi.

This track technically isn't a new tune, its an older tune of mine that I put out but after time I increasingly grew more and more displeased with my original attempt at the track. With that said I opened up the old ass project of this track and basically redid all the plug-ins, replacing the compressors, applying new EQ, etc. and this is the result. My other reasoning for redoing this track is that I also wanted to properly make some artwork so I worked on some art that kinda follows on from what I commissioned emotegi to do for my Tedeza Rize EP.

Below are some words I wrote on the original release of the track so please, if it interests you, read what went through my mind when I originally released this track. 

"Although I mainly focus on heavier electronic music, I really enjoy listening to more laid back electronic music like Wave and Lo-Fi, etc. and I have been itching to make anything like that for a while. With some influence from the more otaku side of the wave scene, I present 'alone ｔｏｇｅｔｈｅｒ、in her room', not sure what exact genre it is now but I think its kinda like really slow Wave I guess. The melody is directly sampled from the song 'TRINIX - No Sleep' which is why this song has the same subtitle. Hopefully I can make more tunes like this in the future while still making the heavier stuff."

So this track I guess technically started when I got my current phone a while back and I was having a listen at the dead tunes that were thrown on it out of the factory. One of the tracks was actually pretty cool, being the track that I sampled for this tune here. I decided to keep the track on my phone to sample it and like 2 or 3 years later I finally got around to doing it. I initially didn't want to do some chops type stuff with it but it kinda ended up going in that direction anyway. The track was actually done in only a few hours but oh my days the bass took so long to get right, almost everything sounded out of key so i really had to strip to bass back so that there were almost no upper harmonics in it to get it to sound right and after like 6 attempts / bounces I finally nailed it. The problem wasn't just getting the bass in key but also getting it to be heard / felt so it was super awkward to do.
In the end I'm very pleased with the result as its pretty wavy in my opinion. I put the sample of Tenshi in at the end purely based on the fact that I had already made the artwork prior to the making on this track and I thought the original song title "Far From Love" and lyrics "together" really fit Tenshi and Angel Beats! as a theme / concept.

I'm sure by this point everyone is used to seeing yettz and I's names together but this track is definitely a different style to what we've done thus far. This track started out as usual with us trying to get a new track going and this time we pulled in a track that yettz had been bumping at that time and so we played around with that. We started by chopping out bits of the original track and repitching and stretching the track to fit what we wanted until it took the form that it does now with all that was left to structure out the tune and add appropriate drums which were mainly done by yettz this time and he executed them perfectly. Like with all our other tracks its such a natural process working with yettz and I often say to him while he's in control of the mouse and keyboard, "Yo g its like you can read my mind, that's exactly what I wanted you to do!" but with this track it was a bit slower to finish just because it wasn't a track we were super focused on finishing quickly at the time but it soon evolved into such a wavy track that I couldn't wait on it anymore and asked if I could use it for this project. At that point the other two tracks had been fully finished so this was all that was left to mix and master and once this was done so was the EP (outside of the artwork).
As always yettz and I have loads more tracks that are still in the works and we hope you look forward to whatever style we do next. (Also, be on the lookout for a new EP from yettz coming soon which might have a certain sorcerer appearing on it!)

Flux Pavilion - Emotional (feat. Matthew Koma) (Abrakadaniel & Killro Remix)

So this track started as an idea for a joint EP between Killro and I but due to the direction this track took we went through with making this into a stand alone track. We started by taking the original stems for Emotional and stripping everything away we didn't want / need. However, we soon decided that we would only need to keep the acapella and we'd write our own chords and melodies. From there we used Logic X's midi effects and Killro's own chord progressions to fill out the track then we worked on the reese bass and the other lead / main synths. This track was done in a single session leaving only some mixing and mastering to do the next day.

As usual working with Killro is a breeze and when we meet face-to-face we seemingly turbo out tracks. The decision to present this track as its own track rather than a remix was my choice as this track walks that grey line of what is a remix and what is just sampling. To be completely honest I think the title looks cooler like this which was also an influencer to my titling decision

So with this track and 'start ting beat' (https://soundcloud.com/abrakadanieluk/abrakadaniel-start-ting-beat) were both started and mostly done during my most recent trip to Tokyo at the beginning of the year. I wanted to try and make some tracks while I was back there during the small moments of down time in my grandparents house. Both these tracks were inspired by another track of mine that I had just recently finished at the time and I wanted to expand on that sound but while also keeping things simple. Also, both these tracks were started off by making the main hook and then having the rest of the track was built around these main ideas, adding more and more until a beat was formed. Neither of these tracks are particularly complex and as such I reflect that by acknowledging them as just beats but they are both good enough for me to want to release so here they are.

in leu of my recent lack of music making due to uni work (even tho i study music tech) i decided to start and finish a new track every day for as long as i can to get me back into making tracks. this may only last a few days or maybe even a couple months, idk but its a cool challenge for myself. 

so for this one i cheated (already lol) and used an existing idea for this track. i didnt know what to do with the melody so i just made a basic beat with it. the result is good enough to satisfy me but its also not really a 'finished' track so its in this weird limbo. feel free to hmu if you think you can write bars to it or something cos im down for that

this track is my fav so far, i sampled Home which ive been wanting to for a while but i forgot about it until i went through some of my folders on my desktop and found it again. i took a few 4-8bar loops and messed around with them and threw some away until i ended up building the loop that i did. the track loops perfectly which is why i called it 'Möbius Loop' (also i jus watched a video about a mag lev möbius loop. its not really house but whatever, its the closest genre i guess, maybe moombah but meeeh whatever
the artwork is a pic of some gear at @killro's uni that i took while visiting so shouts to him, the image has nothing to do with the track tho, im jus already running out of pics lol

Möbius Loop 「Home」

So I've had this track waiting for a long time now. A few months back I watched Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou for the first time and I was very, very impressed with it as an experience. Obviously no spoilers here but I will say the sound track to it captures the mood so well. There are many amazing BGM tracks and insert themes but my favourite was the ED theme from the first episode. I really wanted to capture the hollow and lonely feeling the show has by having a quiet and radio-esque introduction, to set the mood, then quickly it is juxtaposed by the big rumbling reese bass and the opening of the filters that (though less lonely sounding) still captures the epic emptiness that the show shows us. Or at least this is what I had in mind when I was making the track. The little garage-y section towards the end is there for variety but also is more upbeat and slightly lifts the mood which is also a strong theme that SSR has throughout... Despite how alone we are, we still have each other.

Quick shouts to @Killro and @yettz for taking a listen to the track and sharing their opinions before I released this. Next track that I'll release should hopefully be another collab with the man himself, yettz.
