Dan Bejar started Destroyer as a solo home-recording project in the early to mid-nineties. Exploring and overturning genres such as glam, MIDI, yacht rock, and even underground Spanish independent artists, Bejar was proclaimed “Rock’s Exiled King” by The Fader. His is a body of work that consistently flouts convention in favor of musical leaps of faith, statements of purpose cloaked in subterfuge, and the joyous refrain of an optimist’s heart cloaked in cynicism.

Home Despot is the newest project of Boston-based artist Sophia Belle. A continuation of their meticulously-crafted songwriting, they use blues-drenched vocals and electric grit to carve out a space in the uncharted territory of apocapunk dark folk. 

From Argentina to Czechia to the streets of their homecity Somerville, Sophia Belle has been performing for nearly a decade. They recently won first place in The Lizard Lounge songwriting competition finals and were selected to play in a womxn festival at Brighton Music Hall.

Goodman is the project of NYC-native Michael Evan Goodman.
