Hopeless is a roleshift AU inspired by the harsh aesthetic of Underfell. The harshness of the character's personalities altered the events following the human-monster conflict, leading to an underground riddled with disarray. That said, at their core everyone is still the classic characters you know and love, even if it's a little harder to see that than usual.

Papyrus takes the Undyne role, leading the Royal Guard in his mentor's absence. Always looking up to her, he models his leadership skills after her, and as a result has to put on a harsh persona.

What better finale than a track called Final Act of Greatness?
Also hey this event started with Papyrus not getting a BAaTH (AG1), and now he finally gets one! So enjoy.

I'm in love with the ost so far and decided to make a cover of a track made by the one and only Myttin! Originally gonna upload the nyeh heh heh + bonetrousle replacement first but i think im gonna redo it since the mixing was terrible. And yes, I'm taking a break from DR: RoTC. I already have the "VS. Susie" replacement done but it'll be delayed by a bit. The art is made by the wonderful PianoFreak! She made the art so good and similiar to Myttin's way of thumbnailing! Paps just wasn't himself these days. He used to be a brimming beacon of positivity in the community. The kind of guy who'd tell you to never give up no matter how bad things got. Then one day that all just...changed.

Papyrus would have a strong aversion to the player initially. In general, you'd really only see him interact with Sans for his first few appearances. More on his character will come later.
