“Clear Sight” is a melancholic hip hop instrumental with dreamlike qualities of strings and electric piano. The overall feeling is one of resilience. It could be categorized as sad or happy, but the song is certainly solemn and profound. The track is unique with a twist of Orchestral Hip Hop and a dash of Lofi. It is the 1st song and title track on the ‘Clear Sight’ EP by Earthsoundluver.

“Grizzly” is a beautiful beat focused on the courage, heart, and passion of the grizzly bear. These qualities are personified by any successful artist, and it is inspiring to me as an artist and producer. I also support the protection and conservation of beautiful animals around the world! The album artwork was my artistic catalyst in making this track. I love making album covers and I really love the music highlighting those “beary” qualities listed above. Musically, there are similarities with Aphex Twin’s music or other IDM artists. The main melody is from a sine synth, and it sounds soulful like an Andean flute. Electric bass guitar is also notable. I’m from Colorado and wanted to showcase this beautiful yet ferocious animal.

Grizzly

“Drums of the Sky” is an intense beat that could symbolize a battle or some type of conflict where one must get hyped. The Asian strings on this track give it a unique feel as well and I think this track’s artwork is also intense. Depicting American cowboys with a UFO above…this music has serious connotations! In actuality, the song is simply a fun EDM track meant to get the listener’s head bobbin. The beat surely has the potential to satisfy. I think this track would work great with a futuristic video game or new electronic music programs.

“Uptemple” is a warm drum & bass track with dreamlike vibes and screaming synthesizer. I wanted to invoke a feeling of chill, and I think the bass lines create a really cool housey effect. I love how the pianos layer in the background as well with call and responses. When the synthesizer breaks in, it is a wailing solo that is meant to let the track jam. I focused on the drums a lot in this track, and I wanted the bass drum to be felt as well as heard. There are dreamlike qualities to the main support instruments and the first piano played in some ways has a creepy sound to make the song feel transient, different, and somewhat off.

Uptemple

“Regulus” is a focused, intense Drum & Bass track that could symbolize conflict or overcoming obstacles in some way. The drums are fast and accentuate what the bass and synth are doing. The middle section is nice, with a breakdown and drums coming back in a fiery manner to also include a Fender Rhodes solo. Intense sine synths also dominate and remind me of old west tracks, whistles, and all. The mixture of this and drum and bass drums give the song a strong momentum and intense nature. This song could also fit nicely with fitness/ gym music to get the heart pumping.

Regulus

“Gnomesake” is a relaxing Electronic Rock track focused on the idea of the cute and clever gnome. This is such a funny creature that the human mind has imagined. The bass guitar on the track is a driving force and takes on qualities of disco and could get people dancing. The single’s artwork depicts a relacing gnome with his feet in the air – symbolizing our need for rest every now and then. The song’s vibe could also work for fun video game vibes. Life is full of busy times, and times of rest. Times of rest are needed and truly a blessing. Ironically, the song is a dance song with future disco vibes that encourages movement. Sometimes we need rest from being so serious too!
