Abstract Space Records presents a glimpse into the musical musings of the progressive house genius Alejandro Manso in its 40th release, Camelopardalis. Alejandro, who has released on other notable record labels like Balkan Connection, Suffused Music, and Old SQL Recordings showcases his progressive flair in this deep, inspiring track that features remixes from some of the best artists in the progressive scene of today. The release opens with a deep, mysterious drone that slowly deepens amidst tantalizing percussion and swirling ambient sounds effects until reaching a dramatic climax and dropping into an almost housey bass punctuated with keyed hits. Tuxedo returns to the label in a remix that starts out with a hand percussion line that quickly develops into a brilliant, chimeric blend of deep proggy house beats and whirling mystical sound effects that continuously vie for the listeners attention throughout. In his remix K Nass nurtures the complex futuristic effects of the original into a bright, playful lead that impetuously darts in and around a dark brooding bassline. To finish the release, Yuriy from Russia wastes no time diving into a massive, driving bass line that carries the listener at a breakneck pace through floor stomping bass kicks and a powerful, haunting lead in yet another impressive remix.

Following an impressive first release, Athereal returns with a hypnotic melodic progressive production by the legendary duo Rogier & Stage Van H. Known for their insatiable penchant for melodic tracks, the pair do not disappoint with their latest production, Hands on the Future. In their original track, Rogier & Stage Van H introduce an evocative and compelling vocal that weaves in, through, and around an edgy, driving bass while pulsating pads and synthesizers reverberate between the duality of that which is and that which is to come, feverishly building the blissful melody throughout the entire track. Luciano Scheffer maintains the illusion of being rooted firmly in the present while being swept ever onward through a deeper remix with cascading vocal hits, swirling pad work and gorgeous rises. Travis MacDonald casts the listener even farther forward with spacey sound effects, creating a futuristic undercurrent through a decidedly progressive trance remix that features a phenomenally breathtaking break. GM Project begins his remix with an ominous vocal sample from the original track dropping us in a time capsule, driven by the omnipresent sound of an impossibly deep bass line that has made him the envy of every progressive record label around. Napalm & D-Phrag go backwards into the future with light airy pads, epic synthesizer stabs, and superb builds in an incredible rework that rings of old school progressive trance anthems that molded the genre into what it is today.

With only three releases remaining until its fiftieth, Abstract Space Records calls on Alfonso Muchacho and his progressive genius as showcased by his track, The Snake. Previously featured on the recent Supernova 1.0 compilation, The Snake harnesses the power of dark progressive house and unabashedly bares the raw unfettered emotion of the genre for the listener to experience in it's purest form. Alfonso slowly unwraps layer after layer of exquisite sounds, revealing first a moving bass kick shrouded in subdued high hats, followed by stunning bass stabs awash with mystical sound effects, all building up to sumptuous, writhing pad work and a hypnotic lead that leaves the listener absolutely mesmerized. Jonnas B continues this release, using the sultry movement of the original track and fleshing out the bass line to perfection while maintaining a solid grasp on the wonderfully synthed lead, following the elegant formula laid out by Alfonso. Mark Found almost completely reworks with The Snake in his Cobra Remix, an energetic progressive trance remix that continuously builds from the opening hat to its powerful climax. Closing out this release with his Dark Suit Remix, Alejandro Manso succinctly expounds upon its dark mysticism in a slithering, minimal remix that captures the elusive essence at the heart of The Snake with stupendous hand percussion lines, bottomless bass drones, and sharp synth work.
