Introducing KAYSI OWUSU

Kaysi, (born Kwesi Nyarko Owusu-Sekyere) is a gifted and versatile singer/songwriter. With songs like Trust & Obey, Promises, Want You Lord, Worship Medley and the latest single, Exceeding Grace to his credit, he is an upcoming gospel musician who has a unique way of bringing the presence of God to His people.

Kaysi’s music is greatly influenced by the fusion of Neo-Soul and RnB. He also has an affinity for guitar music, precisely ‘afrocentric vocalisms’. Kaysi’s talent was developed in Achimota senior high school, where he joined a group called THE MESSAGE. Being gifted with a powerful voice, he became a lead singer in a vibrant Gospel Rap and RnB group known as STREET DISCIPLES (later called G.U.D). They released their debut album in 2006, ‘Time is Up’.

Kaysi believes that gospel artists are strong tools of evangelism and that gospel music is at the forefront of kingdom expansion. He is gaining recognition quickly along with his team of young people who seek to win souls for Christ. They are on 1MISSION, hence the group name, 1MISSION. Their main goal is to bring the good news of Christ to all who are lost through music and various donations, making Christianity a practical faith. 

He has worked with the Rap group, Preachers, Too Deep, OBJ, Regardless, Overflow, Royal Vessels, Winners Ghana Youth Choir, and ministered in several well-known churches across the country, all this to the glory of God. 
Kaysi is a man of great passion for the things of God. One who believes in selfless service to humanity. A modest, friendly and approachable young man, who sees the world not from face value but from a deep and Godly perspective. 

He aspires to establish his own band, and to make an impact in his time especially in the lives of the youth.

One artiste whose is gradually becoming a daily talk on the lips of gospel music lovers recently is Joseph Oscar Mettle. Most known for the creativity, stage craft and passion he exudes when singing, Joe Mettle, as his stage name goes, is gradually carving a niche for himself as a must- hear gospel artiste of our time. Filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, his ministry has touched many and still blessing many lives.

Joe Mettle has had the opportunity to work with several greats in the industry as Cindy Thompson, Minister Danny Nettey, Rev Tom Bright Davies, Soul Winners as their lead singer as well as many others. He has also been blessed to minister on the same stage with world renowned artistes such as Don Moen, Israel Houghton, Micah Stampley, Alvin slaughter, Sonnie Badu, Cece Winans, Uche Agu and Juanita Bynum.

His latest album, “MY GRATITUDE” features some of Ghana’s most revered musicians, Francis Osei, KODA, and T.KOF. The album as Joe stated softly “… Is a way of saying thank you to Jesus for His grace and mercies over the years”, He has indeed been faithful and He deserves my gratitude, he added.

Joe Mettle is the founder of the community worship project which organizes monthly worship services in communities. As well as a Senior High School Outreach Program that aims at redirecting the hearts of young men and women back to Christ through music.
