These villages dot the frontier and are some of the only safe places for magic users to go. The villages are often small and simple, but teeming with life. People from all sorts of cultures end up together in these villages, chased out of their homes by the prevailing Elian religion...

This track is a musical exploration of anxiety in all of its forms. The auditory hallucinations and heartbeats resonating in the chest as musical elements. The instability and vulnerability during the peak of a meltdown. Vision zooming in and out. The bittersweet mixture of emotions. There's angst and regret, but also a touch of warmth from childhood flashbacks. Most importantly, the beauty that can be found in all of it.

Most of the instrumentation (leads, arps, percussion, bass) is done using exported stems from 0cc-Famitracker, supported by piano, pad synths and live violin recordings.
