Initiated by M&R Rockhal, the 24 Heures Lab brings together two artists from two very different musical horizons: Sun Glitters, Luxembourg’s most renowned electronic music producer and Lisa Berg, one of the country’s leading cellists. The two artists have taken up residency at Music & Resources Rockhal in early spring 2015 to join forces on a shared musical composition, which will be originally presented during a showcase at this year’s 24 Heures Electroniques edition on 2 May.

About Lisa Berg:

Passionate and inspired by the cello at a young age already, Lisa has always focused on developing her skills since graduating from the Conservatory in Maastricht. Very soon she developed her own techniques and started experimenting with different styles of music, discovering the power of improvisation, electronic sound effects and her loop station. Her own music is supported by the melodic voice of her cello, providing a kind of unique storytelling experience, haunting the audience through a magical world of emotion and intensity. She is producing and performing her own works with an admirable precision, always following her feeling. When she is not working on her debut Solo Album, to be recorded at RealWorld Studios (UK), she can be found to share the stage with “Détroit”, the band of French musicians Bertrand Cantat (Noir Désir) and Pascal Humbert (16 Horsepower/ Wovenhand), for whom she also recorded 3 songs on their CD “Horizons”, or to collaborate as a session musician with a wide range of other artists.

About Sun Glitters:

Sun Glitters is the glitchy, summer obsessed, sun-drenched electronic project of Luxembourg musician Victor Ferreira. Debuting in 2011 with the acclaimed full-length, „Everything Could Be Fine“ and a seemingly endless string of EPs, self-released tracks and remixes, Sun Glitters has quickly left a mark on the electronic music scene. In two short years, he has toured clubs and played festivals throughout Europe and received glowing coverage from Dazed & Confused, BBC, Resident Advisor, Earmilk, XLR8R, Pitchfork, The Guardian and other trend-setting music outlets. Keano Gray is one of the most creative DJ and producer in Germany. The feeling for the music shaped him, it’s like the beat is running through his blood, and so he became the youngest DJ in the whole Europe. Keano’s career started when he was 16 years old; Through Publicity, his talent, his charm and his skills he received quickly lots of bookings, for example for the private lounge of David Copperfield & Claudia Schiffer, events with ICE-T, as support act for Naughty by Nature (Method Man), Boyz 2 Men, the Wutang Clan and Jennifer Lopez. But that’s only the beginning...Keano was rocking the best clubs in Germany and all over the world, for example Roxy (New York), Amnesia (Ibiza) and Privilege (Ibiza) with his House-, Hip-Hop and R ́n ́B music, following were his own produced Mix - Tapes, called: Believe it or leave it (R ́n ́B, Black), Stille Wasser1 & 2 (Electro - and Vocal House) and Get out of my Sun (R ́n ́B,
Black). He was also seen on the runway modeling for adidas, Zoo York, Ecko Red, in the cover of the German GQ, Men’s Health and in Cosmopolitan. Keano’s changeableness and his creativity as producer were the crucial factor for further gigs like presentation of
the G-Unit (50cent) collection, Ecko Red fashion show, Diesel etc., also he was acting on diverse expositions as Bread & Butter (Berlin) and Mercedes - Benz fashion week (Berlin.He shifted into techno sounds now

A slow accumulation of a bittersweet taste, a sudden stream of heat and joy – Joyce Ozu mixes not only samples but also mediums. Encompassing photography, film and music Joyce produces multilayered works of both visual as well as sonic art.

The wonderfully foolish jazz-permeated ep “Just Like Individuals pt.1” consists of densely layered samples and dusty grooves that transcend time and geography.
Twenty-five minutes of playful yet edgy dirty soul music - unravelling like a green tea leave when infused with hot water, eventually turning into new meanings and soundscapes.
