With almost twenty years of experience in the studio, Andrey Kurokhtin, aka Shine Grooves, has polished his style, which was initially inspired by the sound of Kompakt releases in the early '00s, into wonderful, ever-changing storytelling that covers broad spectrums of Electronic music. During his musical endeavors, Andrey launched three record labels Biotronic and vinyl-only Quadrat Records and Hanagasumi Records. Besides releasing on his imprints, Shine Grooves is a usual suspect on one of our favorite record labels out there, Kimochi Sound.
The mix Andrey prepared for us is made of his original work that is either unreleased or soon to be released on vinyl. It's a mesmerizing fairy tale that is serene, laid back, yet groovy enough to get you moving while enjoying it on one of the rooftops during these hot summer days. TAMTEN also knows as Dj Grzyb - Warsaw-based producer, dj and live performer, 1/3 of the post-post-punk band House of Lucy, 1/3 of polish-belgian wavy psych-kraut trio Personal Sauveur. Together with Ivan Bayor and Fopa, TAMTEN runs Lucyna - label and half-year's eve festival. In 2023 he released his debut album called ‘End Of That World’.

Popping up on Polish imprint Transatlantyk’s second Trans Afryka EP, he then went on to chart his first solo release ’Diamentowa Sutra’ on the label in October 2018. His productions are beautifully intricate and meticulously thought out. Working in the city’s premiere record shop, Side One, has furnished him with a unique insight into the workings of the scene. After appearing on Transatlantyk label, together with his partner Fopa released critically acclaimed “Polski Dom” EP in 2019, successfully attempting to fuse Polish folk music with contemporary (post)house. His records were released by labels like The Very Polish Cut-Outs, Fałda, Huveshta Rituals.
