So now that I've finally opened up this creative faucet, the built-up backpressure released in a torrent of various musical ideas that I've funneled into this track. The lyrics this month might be a little cringe in hindsight but it's MY art and it can as *melodramatic* as I want it to be!!

Since it is my birthday month, I am being a bit indulgent for March's monthly track by covering one of my favorite bands, Yard Act. Apologies for wrecking your song, gents.

For a chunk of April's track, I took inspiration from the chord changes of Michael Guy Bowman's lovely song "Julia Verne."  Put so much effort making the backing soundtrack sound nice only just to yap all over it. But didn't have much time to polish this one up.  This monthly track challenge I gave myself means I have to put my "pencil down" at the end of every month.  It's pretty scrappy this time around -- had to record all the vocals tonight (sorry neighbors!).  But I hope you find this one at least interesting.  Maybe even fun??
