Next up on Ouïe Circle is Chambord - the talented DJ / producer team from Paris, France. 

Ouïe Circle is home to the wider circle of friends and family around Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan’s Ouïe label, and is the perfect home for Chambord’s enchanting, hypnotic sounds. 

Orvil is a delight - over seven minutes of shuffling groove, deep flourishes and a stunning, transportative female vocal with hints of north African / middle Eastern melodies. 

Extend The Night could be seen as the after dark flip of Orvil - things get a little more intense, driving and locked in. The groove is tighter and yet there's an open, expressive feel to the track with an audacious section where the track almost disappears into the ether, before coming back to earth with a bump. 

Also included here is the vocal mix of Extend The Night which adds a tripped out vocal to proceedings, pushing the vibe deeper into the late night zone.

Acid Pauli’s foray into the world of modular synthesis in his music making resulted in one of last year's most intriguing albums - MOD. His third full-length released on his own Ouïe label, Martin Gretschmann’s modular systems allowed him to traverse new territories in his creative process. A year later, we are treated to four new interpretations of some of the album’s highlights via friends and family from the Berlin underground. 

JakoJako is a techno artist who primarily per- forms live and uses modular synthesis extensi- vely in her music. Her rework of Quantize Hell takes the original into even further directions - an intricate, organic, exploration of modular interplay. 

Hamburg based DJ and producer Nutia, shares a wonderful reinterpretation of Intellijel Bell - a heavy slo-mo vibe that connects airy sounds and a thick bottom end. 

No Kick, No Cry is overhauled by Frankfurt- based artist Daniel 'Flug 8' Herrmann, who delivers a textured, dreamy soundscape to lose yourself in. 

Bar 25 legend Pilocka Krach is responsible for the remix of Sublime Frequencies of Cairo - her trippy, heavy rework is a real treat for those who like their sounds pitched down and psychedelic.

Nico Stojan set up Ouie with his friend and longtime collaborator Acid Pauli as a conduit for the unique and wonderful music they and their friends have become synonymous with. This latest release reaffirms the magical quality the label has cultivated, this time in the form of a teamwork between Nico and David Mayer. 

'Fling' kicks off powerfully - a shuffling, organic groove leads the way before synth pads, jazzy piano riffs and a big breakdown amp up the atmosphere. 

'Safari' employs a similarly swung, live feel to the groove, before dropping in a breakbeat to take things to the next level. The track builds tension as synths are layered and layered, resulting in a mystical leftfield bomb.

'Kalamanka' is a taut, atmospheric slice of late night voodoo, built around live percussion and understated synths.

Zurich based King Ben is the pure opposite of a late bloomer – namely an early starter. After watching a DJ play live for the first time at the age of twelve Ben was hooked and invested all the money he had saved in a DJ system. 

Quickly he developed a unique groove, performed his first gig at the legendary Sputnik Radio and became Switzerlands’s youngest DJ. 

His organic, melodic and yet very reduced sound probably reflects his personality with diverse cultural, creative and musical influences, such as jazz, hiphop or pop. 

In his studio, the sound tinkerer gets lost in time and experiments for days or weeks on a new track. 

Now his efforts are about to pay off: Say hello to King Ben’s first release on Ouïe Circle – the Miracle EP.

Title track Miracle was inspired by certain samples and beats from Ouïe co-labelhead Acid Pauli. The groovy house track filled with uplifting chords and a stirring xylophone sounds builds to an energetic climax, before fading into a soft outro. 
„Reduction and groove was very important for me in this track“ says King Ben. 

The second track is Tschaggas and retouched by Acid Pauli himself. It’s named after the nickname Ben's two daughters gave him and is an emotional journey through ambient soundscapes. With deeply layered synths and sparse drums the track is an emotional exploration of the certain hustle and calmness that reflects daily life with his children.

I was invited to play "Tauron Nowa Muzyka" festival in Poland this year and when I saw the lineup, I was intrigued at how varied and eclectic it was.⁠
As my slot at the club Stage was the closing set on Sunday morning, I had the idea to summarize the festival in my set.  So on the train to Katowice I started digging into all the artists whom I didn't already know and put a set together that consists only of music from artists who performed at this year’s edition of the festival. 
It was a bit of work and a challenge given the limited amount of time I had to prepare, but it was quite a lot of fun and I want to share it with you!

The pair behind the Ouïe label, Acid Pauli & Nico Stojan, collaborate again on a new release on their own label - Vola. 

The title track fits perfectly with their long-established signature sound of intimate and psychedelic electronic music for the more leftfield leaning music lovers. 

This track features a spongy rhythm, accompanying samples seemingly draw from far and wide, creating a lush and meditative feeling. 

The second track, Tensione, builds from the same sound palette but incorporates more elements, from modular arpeggiators to tasteful pads.

We are especially pleased to be able to offer you the official re-release of this 'lost' 6-track mini
album by New Yorker Ben Cenac (of Newcleus fame). It was recorded and released in 1990 and is
an absolute gem of a record, which is very much in the vein of Larry Heard's best recordings.
Electronic soul classic! Now available again for the first time in 22 years, remastered + full artwork.
'A truly, dreamy, beautiful classic deep-house mini-album from the golden-post-Larry Heard era.
New-yorker Ben Cenac, who was also member of electro pioneers Newcleus (and part of Sha-lor,
who had a cool jazzy garage-house hit in the late 80's), shows a great sensibility and delicacy here
in following mr Heard's path.
His approach is perhaps slightly more sci-fi in the synths and pad sounds, and perhaps a tad less
crafted and mercurial in production than the master (ie less timeless), but this adds in realness and
charm.
So, past the classic deep-garage dream "My Love Turns To Liquid" (in the vein of these sultry
garage productions from Peter and Vanessa Daou), the rest of the record shows constant quality,
with song titles that could have been (or actually have been) used by Mr Heard himself, and a
content oscillating between warming deep-house, sweet acid, lush garage and relaxed spacejazz
piano parts, the whole thing also evoking the Beloved's better 'rave' moments ("The Sun Rising"
etc).
This record could be studied in university as the synthesis of the deep-house scene of the early
