Lurid Music is a relatively new Greek label based in Athens that we discovered through awesome remixes by Timothy Fairplay & Antoni Maiovvi on their first two instalments by "The Rattler Proxy". Third outing here is by "Anatolian Weapons" , yet another moniker of local artist Agellos Baltas that already released records on "Lower Parts", "Holger", "MRT" or "Inner Ear" imprints under his different aliases. Here is the Khidja Peruvian mix ! The record has already been out for a few weeks but it's never too late to share an exclusive 12 minute epic trippy beauty, right ?!

In this offering by the Berlin-based and made in the Middle East label Disco Halal, we bring you something fresh from Tel Aviv. Following Naduve‘s releases on Rothmans and Cocktail d'Amore, it’s time for him to come back home. This release comes tastefully spread with Saturn Memories (Marius of Coma) special Tahini remix.
We shook hands with one of them. The handshake is thought by some to have originated as a gesture of peace by demonstrating that the hand holds no weapon. This ancient, short ritual took place several times, here, with some limited success. Does this ritual hold any meaning anymore? The race is long, far from being close to it’s end. It’s a race for a handshake.
This record is one of many efforts to make this race be heard. It may sound naive now, or even pathetic, but what are we to do? When cousins meet at family dinners they might fight each other for the chance to raise the cup “The Father’s name”. This battle is soaked with the music of their family, they know each other by its fabric. We wish to take them to the dance floor and play them music to shake hands to.

Edu Imbernon's Eklektisch welcomes Rafael Cerato (Diynamic, Suara, Stil Vor Talent) back to the family this October and he's joined by two in-form remixers in Polymath founder Third Son and São Paulo titan Victor Ruiz. Brazilian producer Ruiz turns in a monster rework of 'Mirrors Of Life', he's crafted a nine minute epic, which builds from a brooding intro to an arpeggiator-laden crescendo around the six minute mark. He closes with an uplifting synth-driven section that is sure to raise many a roof.  It's a journey in the true sense of the word. Check it out only on When We Dip today!

A new star slowly rises out of Stockholm scene. Born and raised in Pula, Croatia, the DJ and producer Petar Šuškić recently moved to Stockholm. 

Our Story is his debut on the Reworck label, a project borne out of sentiment for deep electronic music which tell stories via the acute emotion penetrating his creations.

Having made his mark with a smattering of releases during 2015, the story of this talented Croatian culminates with stellar single 'Our Story' and is aptly accompanied by a remix from Petar Dundov, an artist from which Bonaca garnered inspiration during his formative years in the studio.

Bonaca's progressive foundations don't go unnoticed with a series of arps and evolving soundscapes dominating the original piece, concepts which Dundov develops further while bolstering and reimagining the direction of travel for both bass and percussive elements.

Tober&Tober ( Alle Tanzen // Hannover ) presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.102

Blut ist bekanntlich dicker als Wasser und Familie ist ein Bund fürs Leben. Dass dies nicht nur leere Phrasen sind leben und lieben Simon und Marvin so leidenschaftlich vor wie es nur sein kann. So verwundert es auch nicht, dass das gemeinschaftliche Erlebnis für die beiden einen hohen Stellenwert besitzt. 

Seit nun etwas mehr als 5 Jahren stehen die beiden gebürtigen Hildesheimer Jungs Seite an Seite - sowohl vor als auch hinter den Decks und frönen ihrer gemeinsamen Liebe - die elektronische Musik. Etwa zur gleichen Zeit riefen sie auch ihre eigene Partyreihe namens ‘Alle Tanzen’ ins Leben, welche sich in den zurückliegenden Jahren zu einer absoluten Erfolgsgeschichte entwickelt hat. Gemeinsam mit ihren Freunden von Nackt auf Tahiti und Into the Woods Germany haben sie in der Kulturfabrik Löseke Hildesheim ein Zuhause gefunden, welches sie seither unzählige Male mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail verzaubert und so zu einer absoluten Top-Adresse in Mitteldeutschlands Clubkultur gemacht haben. 

Als DJ & Produzenten brennen Simon und Marvin ebenso leidenschaftlich für ihre Sache und so verwundert es auch nicht dass auch ihr musikalisches Schaffen von einer unbändigen Qualität geprägt ist. Dabei ergänzen sich die Jungs wirklich wie Yin und Yang und das hört und fühlt man bei ihrem Sound auf ganz besondere Weise. Ihr Podcast für unsere Reihe macht da keine Ausnahme - ein Set mit dem Prädikat ‘Weltklasse’ und nein da übertreiben wir ganz sicher nicht, aber davon könnt ihr euch gern selbst überzeugen.

We are proud to present you our next release. For this release we have the amazing talented Giorgia Angiuli delivering her 'Now And Here' Remix EP.

Born in Puglia, also known as the heel of Italy's boot, Giorgia is a composer and multi-instrumentalist. She is part of the project We love on Bpitch Control Records and she has been resident performer at Tenax Club 1.0 in Florence for 2 years. After a classical music education Giorgia developed in a short time a deep interest in the electronic music and she started experimenting new live techniques. From the very first project Metùo she aimed to create a multi-sensorial performance mixing sounds, images and scents. She never stopped looking intensely for the interaction with her public.

In the year 2010 with her audio visual project WE LOVE she concluded an exclusivity agreement with the label Bpitch Control performing in many clubs internationally. In 2013 she started her residency at TENAX club (Florence, ITALY). This experience gave her the chance to test a new style, creating always different live acts and having the opportunity of constantly improvising on stage. Giorgia Angiuli composed also soundtracks for movies, commercials and fashion shows collaborating with many well-recognized musicians. In 2014 she became a part of Kevin Saunderson’s legendary techno label KMS, from December of the same year Giorgia Angiuli is represented in Italy by La Terra Management, the agency founded by DJ Ralf. Giorgia Angiuli hosts currently a radio program Live is More in collaboration with the agency of the same name on the Italian sender Soundzrise (http://www.m2o.it/) presenting the most interesting live acts perf orming in the worldwide dance scene.

Stylistically Giorgia's solo project moves between pop, techno and house. She uses her voice to create a dreamy dimension intensified by the use of unique toy instruments. During her set she combines keyboards, drum pad and theremin with the sounds of toy flute, sax, trumpets and many other toys. Mixing all these samples and loops she shapes a vibrating and energetic groove that sets the dance floor on fire. She currently lives in Florence.

Hasmik Harutyunyan is one of the most revered folk singers in Armenia. Her renown is based on performances of the very material found on this CD. Featured as a soloist on The Shoghaken Ensemble's Music of Armenia, and as a singer on the group's Traditional Dances of Armenia, she is also the director of the Mouradian Children's Song and Dance Folklore Group and travels throughout Europe performing. This collection of mostly women's lullabies features her renditions of Armenian lullabies from antiquity to the 20th century. Two of her pieces here, "Kessabi Oror" and "Nani Bala," are used on national Armenian radio as standards. The term "oror," translates as "rock, rock," and when hearing these pieces with their gentle, ethereal cadences and rhythms one can not only picture, but feel the image of a mother or even a grandmother rocking an infant gently to sleep in the darkness. These songs are slow, lilting, droning, and incantory pieces, where the human voice is accompanied by the duduk (Armenian oboe). The kanon (a zither to be played on the lap) and the three-string, vertical fiddle known as the kamancha, all of these are played by members of the amazing Shoghaken Ensemble. This is a singular collection, full of emotion, dignity, and grace, offered intimately and without the trappings of field recordings or the dryness of museum-quality interpretations. These sons are alive, full of breath and quiet drama. The liner notes by Cynthia Rogers provide not only fine historical information, but also music and title data, as well, and the lyrics to many of these lullabies are translated, heartbreakingly so. This recording will appeal to anyone interested in the depth of human emotion as well as Armenian music. Fans of Lisa Gerrard and Dead Can Dance, of the sacred minimalism of Arvo Pärt's vocal pieces, and of traditional folk music will all be awed and edified by the humble majesty in this set.

For years the label No Divas sees itself as a platform and figurehead of electronic music in Chemnitz. Though the focus is essentially on techno, house and their various subgenres, label boss Arno aka Oberwasser and his fellow campaigners loves to look beyond the musical box. So it is no coincidence, that some extraordinary free tracks and a lot of diverse podcasts complete the catalogue of eight releases until now. Thereby No Divas always convinces with a clear and tidy sound and a large portion of understatement.
Just in time for the fifth birthday of the label they have signed release number nine. Both tracks, who are made by Chris Wayfarer, fit the current trend of No Divas to publish slower tunes. Because Underwater Dance get in lane beyond the threshold of 110 BPM and somewhere between techno and electro. With a edgy bassline and twisted piano sounds the track stomps slowly but relentlessly over the dancefloor. Letting Go takes it a little bit easier. The track finds its way really sensitive into your ears. Playful bell-like sounds, warm-mooded brasses and a slightly modulated vocal have what it takes to send shivers down your spine.

The 18th release on microCastle sees a special collaboration between two of electronic music's most innovative artists.  Named by Beatport as one of their Progressive House Artists of 2009, Henri Hurtig – otherwise known as Cid Inc teams up with Hungary's Lank (Peter Golyan) for the Our Benefactors EP. Included on the package are 2 fresh originals with remixes from two of this year's most sought after producers King Unique and Luis Junior. The Our Benefactors original mix is a rough-edged melodic house track with a very sinister and  hypnotic brain teasing lead.  A rumbling bottom end and an unparalleled cool vibe really create that dynamic big room feel. Certainly one of Henri and Peter's most unique productions to date.  Matt Thomas otherwise known as King Unique provides the Our Benefactors remix. Formed in 2001 the King Unique production touch has appeared on more than fifty remixes  and has  yielded some of the biggest dance floor bombs known to man, most notably:  Dirty Vegas’ 'Walk Into The Sun',  Underworld's 'Two Months Off' and The Killers 'Somebody Told Me'.  Following fine outings on Bedrock and Flow King Unique has delivered a big room sonic masterpiece for his Our Benefactors remix here.  The spirit of the main theme is maintained and accentuated with some trippy, swirling electronics; however it is the very unique, awe-inspiring organs  that Matt has added that should guarantee some amazing dancefloor moments over the coming months. The second original on the package is Coronal Mass,  a fat, techier progressive house track with extremely dark and ominous overtones. As the piece grows epic sheets of spine tingling synths are unleashed as anticipation builds during the breakdown all for what results in a simply amazing payoff.  The Coronal Mass remix is supplied by Luis Junior who is Spanish born and based in Madrid, he is one of the fasted rising stars of electronic music at the moment. His productions are sought after and championed by industry heavy weights John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren.  His debut EP “Colache” released earlier this year on Bedrock gained a lot of attention industry wide and more recently  the massive “BG" also for Bedrock was one of the most unique techno productions thus far this year. For his Coronal Mass remix Luis has stripped the track right down and delivered a futuristic slice of world class hypnotic techno.  The hypno synth sits perfectly under a  very accessible club friendly framework and  the signature Luis Junior production quality is unrivalled here with its pristine overall sound and rock solid titanium beats.  A killer remix from Luis which is already being played by John Digweed.&#13;
