Premiere: CØRE - Cavern (Human Space Machine Remix 1)

NFR012 - ambient techno bliss from Southampton by 'Mechanist'. There aren't many artists recording this type of music in Uk, but Mechanist always managed to stand out and stay true to his style combining dreamy ambient pads with dark leads and atmospheres and minimalistic drum patterns. This particular release inspired by the ideas of lost or forgotten cities, the knowledge and secrets they contained, and the languages they spoke. You can find his music on labels like Silent Season, Tehnofonika, Black String Records to name a few, as well as his own imprint - Intersum.

In addition we have included 2 remixes by artists that received many positive feedbacks after their appearance on NFRVA02 - 矯激 and Taece.

Sungate Journey #35 by ELIAS.

We are delighted to welcome Wes Baggaley to the Killekill Podcast series with this killer uptempo, wild but funky mix of techno and electro. 
A self confessed vinyl addict, Wes has been familiar to promoters, record store staff and clubbers in the UK and in recent years has become a familiar face to a much wider audience. 
From 2016 to 2020, @wes-baggaley played some of the best regarded underground parties across Europe including the legendary Panoramabar and the esteemed Robert Johnson in Frankfurt, as well as other clubs & events across Germany,  Czech Republic, Russia, Switzerland , Hungary, Romania, and Holland. 
Alongside features in several leading dance music publications, Wes has live-streamed sets for Mixmag's The Lab, Red Light Radio in Amsterdam, an extremely well received Boiler Room, and held a residency on Rinse FM from 2017 to 2021. He can currently be found playing everything from dark ambient, noise and industrial to techno, electro and breaks on Netil Radio.

From an early age, Z.I.P.P.O had a drive to create music that inspired others the way his favorite records inspired him. Giuseppe made is DJ debut at the age of 15, already spinning parties in Southern Italian clubs. Two years later, he began to make his first productions, releasing “Symmetrical Therapy” on Figure, and collaborating with international labels such as Involve Records, Suburban Avenue, Enemy and Ben Sims Machine. 

Thus far, he has already conquered some of the most sought-after dj booths in Europe including Berghain, Tresor, Fabric and, more recently, that of Boiler Room for Viva Festival, in which he avoids his usual techno selection in lieu of a set exploring the intersection of Detroit house, jazz, Funk and Disco.

In 2015 he founded Fides Records which gave birth to 3KZ. A project that influences a lot the sound of the label with “Sci-fi, electro-tinged techno of the highest order”. As said by the critics: “Sweeping strings, bright arpeggios and a robust rhythm section take this collaboration from Z.I.P.P.O and Kaelan from Italy straight to the Motor City”.

In Z.I.P.P.O’s mind there is always new music that needs to be played and there is always places where that music can be played. He’s constantly searching for new sounds, adding to his grooves, and absorbing from every source of inspiration. He seduces with his ability to wave genres together and his sets show a thoughtful kind of pleasure-seeking, going from introspective dark sounds to the most uplifting Electronic music.

With his eclectic mixing, he’s an energetic personality behind the booth, stepping aside from any tendencies and crafting is set according to the mood of the dance floor. 

Z.I.P.P.O’s inherent abilities earned him the respect among his peers and, in recent years, his name appeared on Ryan Elliot's compilation for Fabric and DVS1's curated parties all over Europe.

Bio /

Mattia Onori is a Berlin based sound engineer, sound designer, electronic music composer and audio professional in the fields of film post-production, special audio and sound art. He is constantly searching for new ways to express himself through sound. He rejects classical music composition and even went through the study of sound engineering only to break the learned rules. 

Besides the degree in audio production, Mattia has written articles for the online electronic music magazine Soundwall and produced various sound design works for movies which also landed at Berlinale International Film Festival.

In 2020 his name has begun to appear in the end credits of well-known TV series on Netflix as recording engineer for the German dubbing.
From his obsession for analog gear and modular synthesis come his eclectic works as HRNR. Besides mixes of different ambient and techno nuances, he designs drony panoramas where noisy influences are poised between a natural analog sound and a cumbersome one, featuring the unique soundscapes of his experimental electronics.
