This heavy hitting 2 track EP from Hemisferio Records owner Alexandre Laeddis, looks to portray his signature sound; groovy and driving with a subtle ode to old school influences. 

In his track "North" Alexandre has created a complex atmosphere through carefully layering melodies alongside his hard-pounding signature drums and percussions.

Annika Wolfe brings her unique sound of deep, rhythmic and raw techno to Motech Records.

“The EP was inspired by my thirst for the late-night warehouse parties we are accustomed to in Los Angeles, this is my take on raw, jacking style techno” says Annika. “Chiques Funk” is perfect for peak-time on the dance floor. Filled with distorted robotic bleeps that filter through percussive toms and claps the result is a sound reminiscent of Detroits stripped back soundscapes.

Acutek is a Techno Artist from the rural highlands of Scotland. An ambassador for Scottish nightlife, the ‘Flick’ frontman has been championed for his contribution to the scene in his hometown and further afield.

With over a decade of musical experience, Acutek’s palate can be described as ethereal Techno with rough edges. Citing inspiration from Slam, Petrichor, Frai.zer, Pan-Pot and more, atmospheric spaces and storytelling breaks are met frequently by gritty and potent grooves in abundance.

An esteemed producer, Acutek has already achieved commendable success within a relatively short period. His 2018 release on Biotech Recordings topped the Beatport ‘Hard Techno’ chart and was supported by the likes of Luigi Madonna, Christian Valera, Mark EG & TKNO among others. Acutek also has releases on Gibbon Records, Unknown Territory and Space City Recordings to boot, with several others lying in wait.

A frequent feature at many of Scotland’s burgeoning Techno venues and festivals including The Tunnels, Mash House, Bongo Club, Ironworks, Belladrum Festival, Mugstock Festival - Acutek has already had the pleasure of supporting some of the industry’s finest names. Jasper James, Jay Lumen, T78, Ramiro Lopez, Stephano Noferini, Gary Beck, Mark Broom, Pleasurekraft, Bontan, Anna, Lex Gorrie, Quail, Hans Bouffmyhre and Tommy Four Seven being just some of the artists to feature on the same lineup as the Forres native.

A talisman student of Glasgow’s revered SubSine Academy (dubbed ‘Soma Skool’ by many), Acutek has often rubbed shoulders with some of Techno’s most-celebrated artists whilst learning the tools of the trade. He has also invested his efforts into the globally-acclaimed Toolroom Academy, with the quality of his productions growing in stature at an exponential rate.

Using his ‘Flick’ event brand as a platform to further develop his reputation within the industry along with more releases and bookings in the pipeline, Acutek is planting all the right seeds to enable him to grow into a household name within the Techno universe.
