While waiting for christmas

With this piece I painted the colour Amber in music. The piece has a friendly cadence and a slight sentimental mood. Getting a warm feeling with this color. It’s a piece in the sequal of more colors in music. Planning on making an album  with 9 pieces in total. Hope you like it....

Amber

A deeply emotional and melancholic composition, inspired by Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me to the Moon, but reimagined and transformed into a more sorrowful felt piano arrangement by Francesco Adornetto. This tribute tells the silent anguish of a father who has withdrawn from the world, burdened by the loss of his dreams. He yearns to escape to the moon but remains trapped in a reality of his own making—one he wishes he could leave behind.The delicate interplay of notes in E-flat major weaves a poignant narrative of introspection, longing, and unspoken emotions. It invites the listener into a space of quiet reflection, resonating with the profound and haunting beauty of sadness.

Just recently I've lost my brother after a long illness of cancer, I would like to dedicate this Nocturne to him...
the picture was taken by my niece's husband Cees Horio, in Alhaurin de la Torre, an excellent photographer in his spare time! they had a very nice time there...

I hope you will like to listen to my piece, my apologies for not having been so much on SC, but am looking forward listening to all my friends in the coming weeks...

The original piano composition was inspired by a long-remembered childhood dream of this tiny, mythical creature hovering over my windowsill, then abruptly leaving.

Growing up, whenever I visited my grandparents, I was assigned to sleep in the room containing their massive grandfather clock.  While I found the constant ticking to be somewhat soothing, the Westminster chimes kept me from falling asleep for hours on end. That said, I love the rhythm and beauty found in all things that keep time and have a great appreciation for the original creators of timepieces, as well as those who still craft and care for them today.
