‘Parrots’ is a melodic, expressive and soft solo piano piece.

It was composed at Sunday evening, just coming back from a family day at a parrots park. All the lovely and chill feelings were set into the song. Right hand plays a one note very peaceful and sensitive melody, easy to catch up. Recorded and mixed 2023 at GAM Studio by producer Armen Bedrossian near Paris on a classic C. Bernstein grand piano.

Gemini by CrusaderBeach is a mellow solo piano composition that reflects on the theme of close relationships and the love that ties us together.

In mythology, Gemini is associated with twins, and this piece celebrates the birth of twin baby girls within the composer’s family circle.

The track features the soft, intimate tones of a felted upright piano.

My 3rd experience of playing of an improvisation on the new: VSL Studio Concert D 1887. I’ve decided to play in a very ambient piano sound with a long reverb. And I’ve used an external reverb - LX480 from Relab. I really enjoyed the result. It sounds not too clear and still a bit “imperfect”. And I think this kind of a sound is a bit close to a Harold Budd’s piano in his iconic collaborative work with Brian Eno. And I really enjoy this a bit old school sound even in the long and deep reverb. Well, I think Concert D 1887 is my very favorite piano on this moment because I can play a cinematic, classical and ambient piano, and I like all three. This piano is really versatile for me.

In 1998, pianist and composer Bruno Sanfilippo, along with his wife Ximena Contreras, established their own record label, ad21, as a haven for their creative expression. Since then, ad21 has released over 30 solo and collaborative albums in digital and physical formats, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of the neoclassical music scene.
In 2024, ad21 embarked on an ambitious new venture by opening its doors to pianists worldwide, broadening its platform and artistic outreach. Collaborating with Javier Guglielmi, ad21 aims to foster a record label specializing in neoclassical music, with a particular focus on solo piano performances.
Their vision for ad21 is to create a nurturing environment where artists can discover a supportive community and access the resources necessary to maximize their musical potential.
