When I’m at Highclere, I feel at peace. The world outside seems distant, and time slows down. There’s a stillness in the air that clears my mind and gives me space to breathe. The castle, the grounds, the open skies — it all feels timeless, as though it’s been waiting for me. I feel calm, connected, and completely myself there. It’s the one place I could happily stay forever, and when the time comes, I wouldn’t mind my ashes being scattered beneath those skies.

Beneath Highclere Skies is a reflective neoclassical piece inspired by the grandeur and serenity of Highclere Castle — known to many as Downton Abbey. Written in a similar style from the series, the music blends elegance and nostalgia, evoking a sense of calm and timeless beauty. Gentle orchestral textures, sweeping melodies, and a touch of cinematic atmosphere invite the listener into a world of heritage, memory, and stillness.

This is music for quiet moments, for gazing across the countryside, for finding peace beneath the vast skies of history.

Aique’s story with music began as a childhood dream, when he first discovered the piano. Years later, that dream turned into a true passion, shaping a voice that seeks beauty through simplicity.

“Final Voyage, Home” is a quiet, cinematic farewell — a gentle piece about arriving at the end of life and finding, improbably and beautifully, that home has been waiting for you all along. The track follows one last walk along a familiar shoreline; as the tide whispers and the light shifts, Wilf — a tuxedo cat who has gone before — pads up and sits at my side. There’s a small, wordless recognition: it’s time. Looking up, a great cruise ship appears on the horizon, bathed in warm, otherworldly light. Onboard are the faces of everyone I’ve loved and lost, and those I’ve loved and kept: a congregation of ordinary saints waiting to welcome me on my final journey.

Musically, the arrangement mirrors that slow step toward acceptance — spare piano and low strings and horns carry the weight, The track is less about drama and more about arrival: a calm, reverent goodbye that feels like a hand being taken. It’s intimate, hopeful and, at its core, grateful.

In 1998, pianist and composer Bruno Sanfilippo, along with his wife Ximena Contreras, established their own record label, ad21, as a haven for their creative expression. Since then, ad21 has released over 30 solo and collaborative albums in digital and physical formats, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of the neoclassical music scene.
In 2024, ad21 embarked on an ambitious new venture by opening its doors to pianists worldwide, broadening its platform and artistic outreach. Collaborating with Javier Guglielmi, ad21 aims to foster a record label specializing in neoclassical music, with a particular focus on solo piano performances.
Their vision for ad21 is to create a nurturing environment where artists can discover a supportive community and access the resources necessary to maximize their musical potential.

I’m Dean R. Chandler — a London based songwriter, recording artist, and storyteller. My music is rooted in a lifelong search for meaning, weaving together themes of love, loss, faith, alien contact, and humanity’s future.

My upcoming double concept album Human Odyssey (set for release in January 2027) is the culmination of decades of writing and reflection. It’s a narrative journey that begins with a search for God and ends with an encounter with extraterrestrial intelligence — exploring not only what it means to be human, but also where we might be heading as a species. Musically, it draws inspiration from the epic storytelling of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds, the synth-driven edge of Gary Numan, and the emotional depth of artists like Tori Amos and Chris de Burgh.

I previously released Time Machine – Reflecting Shattered Dreams (2014) and continue to revisit my archive of songs written across 35 years, reimagining them with today’s tools and sounds. Some pieces remain intimate and acoustic, while others expand into dark rock, industrial, or orchestral landscapes — but all are connected by a focus on emotional honesty and cinematic storytelling.

Beyond music, I’m fascinated by the intersection of creativity and technology. I’ve been experimenting with AI-driven composition and production to bring old demos to life and to spark entirely new works. For me, these tools are not replacements for human artistry but extensions of it — ways of unlocking stories and emotions that otherwise might have remained hidden.

At its heart, my work is about connection: to the past, to the future, and to the unseen mysteries of existence. Music, for me, isn’t just entertainment — it’s a chronicle of transformation, a conversation between spirit, science, and sound.
