շուք (shouk) - noun - Armenian word for shade, shadow, brightness, splendour, lustre, brilliancy, pomp, magnificence, glory, honour, respect.

Shouk is producer and DJ in Philadelphia, PA. She is taken by the way the music dissolves all that typically divides people. Race, gender, sexual orientation, and age all welcomed to be full expressed accepted and embraced because of this music. Shouk amplifies this frequency by taking you on a sonic adventure around the globe.  By connecting the seemingly disconnected, Shouk's ultimate goal is to get you movin', groovin', shakin', twistin' wigglin', prancin', booty bouncin' stompin' jumpin'  leapin' in celebration of ourselves individually and as a community and amplify the frequency of joy. Her DJ sets are a mixture of Tech House, Latin/Afro House, Jackin Soulful house, and Organic Techno.
