Crafty Kansas City based band Myco reinvents mind-bending music that swirls together dynamic textures of rock and electronic into a brand-new sound that invites listeners to trip through the stimulating and limitless depths of the human imagination. Keyboardist, vocalist, songwriter and psychedelic visionary Kyle Henry crafts clever lyrics inspired by his own trips through the world of magic mushrooms. He illustrates his personal experiences and explores themes of science, philosophy and spirituality with the help of drummer Andrew MacIntyre, guitarist Jesse Rodriguez and bass guitarist Cory Yeager. Marked by vivid keyboard melodies, infectious guitar hooks and intoxicating grooves, Myco’s intricate recordings show the band’s obsession with fine detail and passion for experimenting with different styles and genres, including psychedelic rock, electronica, new wave, metal and jazz. The band’s live performances are a funk-filled, groovy thrill-ride into its soul, a personal invitation to escape from the world into a bold and expressive alternate universe. 

Myco’s self-titled debut EP is a collection of five tracks that illustrate the power of the human mind and showcase psychedelic music trailblazer Henry’s skills as a songwriter and composer. Myco features a combination of instrumentals and songs with lyrics that highlight perspectives on life, love, enhanced experiences and the joy of letting go. 

The idea for Myco hit lifelong musician and creator Henry in his late teens and early 20s. Moved by the cerebral and vibrant music of legendary ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s prog rock and psychedelic artists like Pink Floyd, The Doors, ELO, Alan Parsons, Frank Zappa and David Bowie, he began writing songs and playing in a variety of bands while expanding the limits of his own consciousness through the use of psychedelics. Henry’s experiences helped shape his life philosophies and principles, rooted in the idea that everything is interconnected. Ever curious about science and nature, his exploration of psilocybin mushrooms also sparked a fascination with mycology and the idea that fungi are decentralized organisms. As he dove deeper into the music industry, he started to explore bitcoin and blockchain technology, which to him represented the key to living in a free, interconnected society. Henry soon decided to launch Myco, calling on the talents of his long-time, like-minded friend and musical collaborator MacIntyre. The two invited Rodriguez and then Yeager into the fold to play guitar and bass and to take the sound to a new level.

Now, Myco’s mission is to create music that expresses the psychedelic dream of life while spreading the larger message of freedom through decentralization. Staying true to the ideology on which it was founded, the band released its first single, “Myceliated” for free with a bitcoin qr code on the cover art and is committed to accepting bitcoin payment for all future releases. The band is also working on an animated music video for the single that will be viewable in the coming months. The group will be playing a series of shows in October in the Kansas City area. Myco will be available on September 26.



2011 has seen ThirtyOne stamp their mark firmly on the face of the British alt-rock scene. Their debut EP and accompanying video, set a clear precedent of what to expect from this band in the near future.

Having only recently completed their line up, ThirtyOne have already been taking ambitious strides. Their huge live sound, exuberant stage presence and sense of humour recently won them the 2010 Exeter Battle of the Bands, propelling them to the forefront of the local music scene. National airplay has also resulted in positive reviews from the likes of Amazing Radio's Aaron Philips, describing ThirtyOne as: 'Really odd, but very cool, with powerhouse vocals. Very clever, with prog elements... Absolutely rocks to the core. This is full-on metal at it's very best.' Recently, ThirtyOne have been busy working with artists and promoters to stage shows for themselves and other local lights, bolstering the scene at home and around the UK. No boundaries, no limitations, no need to fit any typical music genre, just music that speaks for itself. That’s the main principles behind Ashes Of Moon. The subject matter is life, with all its heights and depths, days and nights, light and darkness. The music style may best be described as something between Melodic Death-, Post- and Progressive Metal, resulting from influences varying from Scandinavian Melodic Death-, Black- and Death Metal, 60/70ies Prog-Rock up to Post-Rock and Britpop, merged to a deliberate contrast between beautiful melodies, harsh vocals and catchy, hard riffs.

	From his primary years of bashing on pots and pans along to The Beatles, his high school years of learning how to play Iron Maiden's "Number of the Beast" on viola, his study of Musical Composition at Toronto's York University, through to his mid 20's as a guitar player in original Art Rock bands such as Crisis Ten, Shopping Asia and Edge of Sense, Wilton has always had music inside of him.
	
In his late 20's. Wilton had had enough of the guitar and band democracy and was searching for another musical outlet.The Live Kate Bush video "Live at Hammersmith" provided the inspiration and he took up vocal lessons with the intent of starting his own solo project with himself on Vocals and Keyboards.After developing his vocal style, he was able to gather members of previous bands to back him up on drums, bass and guitar. The project Wilton Said... was born.
	
While his earlier releases of "World Up my Ass" and "Broken" had a variety of musicians playing Bass and Drums (Wilton played guitar), his later releases had a more stable band oriented set of musicians with Richard Rizzo on Drums, Andrew Buntain on Bass, and Wilton giving up guitar duties to long time friend and musician Chris Reid.This line up recorded two CD's "The Butterfly Plague" and "The View".Shortly after, Bassist Andrew Buntain left the band and Frank Heisler joined as a replacement and can be heard on the most recent release of "Half Life".

Style wise, one could group the music of Wilton Said,,, into the Art Rock category, but that's still pretty vague, which is just the way Wilton likes it.

"I'm open to a variety of styles of music from Orchestral, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, Prog, Goth, Alternative and Heavy Metal, all of which have had an influence on my writing and singing.Add to that the various influences and styles of the current band members and we've got an interesting mix of sounds."

"I often write with a certain sound or sonic texture in my head.But as soon as the other guys, especially guitarist Chris Reid, get a hold of it, it changes into some other type of edgy thing which is totally unexpected and for me, original."

The music on the most recent release "Half Life" could be considered by some as Art Rock.Others may call it simply Alternative while others may hear it as Math Rock or Indie Rock.I guess one could say it's all of those things making for an unusual and interesting musical soundscape.

SILVIO ASSAIANTE: BASS
Silvio was born in Formia on 23/12/1978 under the sign of Capricorn and he lives in Itri. He began studying the bass guitar at age sixteen through the teaching of Maestro Ennio Messore Teacher Low-bass. 

In 2012 joined the Daemonia Prog Liguria Concert for the reconstruction of areas affected by flooding with more bands: Altar Tothemico, Arts & Crafts, CCLR, Delirium, Egoband, Gleemen, The Temple of the Hourglass, The Wax Mask, The Alchemist's Tower, Locanda delle Fate, Maxophone, Moongarden Hosanna + Gianni Leone, The trip, UT. 

He recorded the new album Last Mistake "On the road to nowhere" out in 2013 and he took part in the realization of the study Musical Wojtyla Generation Love rock Raffaele Avallone, reppresented at the Orion Theatre in Rome on 04.03.2012. He recorded the single and the video clip of Simonetti Project "Kiss me Dracula" soundtrack end credits of the film Dracula 3D Dario Argento. 

Silvio collaborates with record Roxil Music-MC Music as bassist for artists as Sabrina Masella winner of the International Festival George Grigoriu 2012 winner of Zeno Area Sanremo 2011 Always 2012 he founded the Trio project FWE (First Warp Experiment) consists of: Cosmo Masiello "Guitars", Silvio Assaiante "Bass" Elvis "Drums". Last Mistake 2011 collaborates in projects and Midian. 

With Daemonia he participates in the Festival Prog Rosfest Gettysburg-USA, sharing the stage with: Going For The One, Epiiclycle, Tinyfish, Moonsafare, Osada Vida, Phideaux, Galatic Collective, Mars Hollow, District 97, The Reasoning, Quidam. 

2010 he cooperates with the Rush Guitars & Bass for the realization of the MR Meter Signature Silvio Assaiante. 

2009-2010 He plays bass on the album Judgement of Silence and Magnitude of Aporia. In the same year he auditioned for the role of bassist in Daemonia, confirming its position as bassist Officer Daemonia & Claudio Simonetti author of many soundtracks of famous film director Dario Argento. 

2008 Silvio was called by Glass Shadows tribute band Dream Theater and in two months they prepared two and a half hours of footage. 

2006 Silvio started the project Aporia (Prog-Metal band) and in a very short time, this band participates and wins many exhibitions, and music festivals, including the FormiaRockFestival08, where the band is rewarded by Maestro Claudio Simonetti former of Goblin 

2000 Refine following technical courses and seminars slap, tapping harmonic and melodic. 

1996 Sign in as a bass player in the group prog-metal Jester's Tears. 

Diego started his guitar study at the age of eight, learning quickly the technical aspects of the instrument and showing a natural gift with his touch, expression and execution.
At age of 11, he studied the modern electric guitar in a little school of music in Turin, Italy. At age of 13 Diego met the great guitarist Massimo Arminchiardi, who introduced Diego to a professional level of music study encompassing advanced aspects of modern guitar music.
At age of 15, Diego began studying with Tony De Gruttola, who is a master level teacher of both “Centro Professione Musica” and “Accademia Lizard – Piedmont Section”. Diego learned improvisation and rhythmic techniques, across blues, rock, metal and funk genres.

2006 January

Diego, at age of fifteen, was selected as the best electric guitarist during a TV shown on Rai 1 (“Domenica In, Ieri, Oggi Domani - Sunday 29th 7:00pm)  from a jury composed by Enrico Ciacci (brother and guitarist of Little Tony the most famous “rockabilly” man in Italy), Alberto Radius (guitarist of the Formula 3 group one of the first prog-rock groups in Italy) and Dody Battaglia (guitarist of “The Pooh”).


2006 May

Diego was invited to play his electric guitar again on Rai 1 television twice in May 2006 with other eleven guys, composing the “Orchestra di Domani”. Diego was playing some movie soundtracks and “The Godfather” theme solo.

2007

Diego was invited to play in a jazz club in Turin. He performed some instrumental covers by Satriani, Vai and Moore.

2008

Diego composed his first song, “Thinking of Chopin” inspired by Nocturnes op. IX pt.1  by Frederick Chopin. The song published on Garageband and Ourstage websites and received many awards from the community.
 
2009

Diego was invited to play at “Guitarshow 2009” in Milan, representing Accademia Lizard: he played “Fives” by Guthrie Govan.

2010

Diego won the “1 concorso nazionale per chitarra elettrica ed acustica” in Parma playing his “Thinking of Chopin”.
Diego was invited again to represent “Accademia Lizard” school of music in many towns and cities of Northern Italy to promote the school together with the Accademia Lizard teachers.
Diego was selected by the movie director James Smith for his documentary project about six guitar stories. Diego one of the six guitarists worldwide.
Diego was invited by John Dargan, founder of nurturemusic.biz, to perform a music tour in US starting from 8/2/2010 to 9/3/2010. During his stage Diego played for free in DaytonaLagoon, Athens Theater and many other sites around central Florida.

Sinkk started back in 2001 In a small provincial town called, San Pablo City, Laguna, Philippines.
Live, we emerge loose sounding, yet poetic and with a big fuzzy, chunky sound, (it depends in the moon)...to me it sounds like rehearsed crap.

Some people mistake us for an electronic rock band,
we don't sound electro tho...our electronics are just a bunch of noise making backups.

We combine psychedelic tinged, hard-rock with 90's influences, a bit of space-folk jangle
with a "math-rock'" clang, grainy and hi-fi musique concrete  samples, and bits and peaces of post-hardcore attitude with a bit of darkness, and noise- doom rock. 
We also use #mpk, #sonyplaysation and laptops live.

Hi,  I'm a drummer from Liverpool and this site is to put up recordings of my new and previous bands demos, studio recordings and session recordings I've played drums on over the years (some live, some to a click).  
I teach drums at the moment with Mersey Drum Lessons and also available for session work/ live work (with session work I'm more looking for experience so I might even do it for free if it looks like fun!) I make a great emergency stand in drummer too. 

I started drumming when I was 19 in 2001, my first major influence was Dave Grohl, a good solid aggressive but tasteful rock drummer to lay the foundations down but now I've got too many influences to mention and this is probably because of my love of progressive rock/metal especially featuring the likes of Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater and Virgil Donati of Planet X.  It's a genre which is boundless and encompasses nearly every other genre.  This led me immediately to seek out other styles like jazz, latin, classical, death metal, drum n'bass and fusion with a whole new perception and enthusiasm for music and practising.  I have discovered so many awesome drummers out there I could write a novel.  
If I were to recommend anything else I'd suggest watching Jojo Mayer and Thomas Langs drumming DVDs, they massively improved my technique.

I joined Choc Electrique about 2009 and am still in them today, which is a melting pot of original material ranging from prog rock, indie, punk, funk, metal, drum n'bass, jazz and anything else we can cram in.  There's link to Choc Electrique above - please check them out. 

I also create music under the name "Fatt Jengo" which gives me a chance to indulge in odd meters, polyrhythms, irrational time signatures, drum solos as well as composing/ producing music on a laptop with FL 12.  At first I was just composing and didn't actually plan to attempt to play the drum parts so gave myself a big challenge.  There's a link to that too and my Youtube channel with me drumming on some of the Fatt Jengo tunes which I can play so far.

The years of the songs on this page so far includes previous bands Reism (now based in Norway), The Real Police (The Police cover band), Spearwater (rock/ indie), The Covernant (pop cover band), Trojan Bus (rock/ blues/ funk/ fusion) and current band Choc Electrique as well as a session recording with The Snides (punk) from a few years ago.  There's a few more recordings to find and a quite a lot more bands I've been in over the years but these are the bands I've recorded professionally with in recording studios or at least using professional equipment.  I have written brief notes on how things were recorded if you click the song descriptions too.
