After the release of Binary Finary & Lele Troniq's massive vocal hit last year featuring Trance songstress, Christina Novelli, 'Waiting For The Sun' returns to Digital Society Recordings with 3 brand new and all British remixes.

Up first on remix duties is uplifting talent, Adam Ellis who reworks this anthem with his own signature stylings. Punchy kicks and a new lead synth lie on top of a classic trance & acid base to cause maximum destruction on the dancefloor.

Ad Brown gives a much different rendition of the track. Taking the song to a more progressive level, this remix has a summery, Balearic flavour to it which perfectly rounds off this stunning triple headed release.

Allen & Envy appear last but not least with their take on 'Waiting For The Sun'. Heavily sampling Christina's heavenly vocals, this duo sprinkle them throughout the track reminding us of her status within the industry. The breakdown slowly crescendos into the track's euphoric and melodic lead. A flawless production from Allen & Envy.

'Waiting For The Sun' gets three well deserved remixes and adds three brand new dimensions to the release. A faultless EP on DS-R!

It’s the ‘black land’ of Egypt, where the story of Aly & Fila came to life. 5000 years of genesis – including its world-famous pharaohs, pyramids and ancient civilization – later, another thing became part of its culture. Pure trance music, from the hands of Aly Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib.

For Aly & Fila, things really kicked off in 2003, when their ‘Eye of Horus’ turned into a big club hit, played out by all trance-minded A-list DJ’s. It would soon be clear that the Egyptian producers were much more than a one-hit wonder. In the years following, Aly & Fila released a slew of club-scorching, chart-hitting trance tracks and remixes, of which ‘Spirit of Ka’, ‘Ankh – Breath of Life’ and ‘Lost Language’ managed to put millions of trance fans into a frenzy. Outside the studio, Aly & Fila became known for their all round appeal to audiences around the globe. All the energy of their gigs at major festivals, nightclubs and events came together in the 2009 DJ Mag Top 100 Poll, where Aly & Fila climbed all the way to the 22nd position. To Aly & Fila however, their journey in music is about more than just popularity. Clear evidence of that, is their very own ‘Future Sound of Egypt’ label, part of Armada Music. The label is set up to release high quality trance by some of the world’s most talented and passionate producers.

Aly & Fila feel right at home in that group. Their debut album ‘Rising Sun’, is the result of their life-long passion for the trance genre and all its treasures. On ‘Rising Sun’, the guys join forces with talented vocalists and producers such as Tiff Lacey, Sue McLaren, Josie, Denise Rivera, Philippe El Sisi, Bjorn Akesson and many more. The characteristic sound of Aly & Fila, uplifting and euphoric trance, is represented in all tracks of debut album ‘Rising Sun’, bringing you one disk of pure energy.

First up on the remix tip is Bucharest’s Almar, fresh from remixing Solarstone’s classic ‘Seven Cities’ for Armada and his own ‘Evening Star’ release on Touchstone Recordings, Almar takes ‘Seldarine’ down a warm and fuzzy eyes-closed trance remix with the pure spirit intact. Adding something deeper to this package is Empress Recordings head honcho Danny Stubbs, with a remix which references those classic Northern Exposure releases from yesteryear with its hypnotic groove and bassline. Three strong mixes that cater to DJs from across the Pure Trance spectrum.

Next up on our roster is the 19 year old producer Kenneth Cruz, living his life in Gibraltar. Still at a young age, he already has delivered a big load of productions some of them through major labels such as Infrasonic, LW, Unearthed and more. That you all know stand for quality and we are truly pleased he’s wanted to join our family of producers here at PHW.

This production baptized as “Another Day” is a melody and chord driven progressive production, filled with all the right elements to bring a summer feel in to you. 

On remix duty you are to face a returning line-up on the label, with the great producer Dayon (Argentina) opening up for us. As a lot of you who have followed him over time,knows he has a characteristic sound and he delivers his personal style to the release. Be ready for warm sound structures, loving melodies and energetic riffs in a blend mix that definitely takes you on a journey.

The 2nd retake comes from the Irish producer and definitely one to watch, as we have the pleasure to bring back the creative artist, Dave Murphy to our roster. dave has already been with us back in late September 2013, with his heavily supported “Starting Point” original and here he continues that path with another incredible production together with us. With tight sound structures, strong melodic hooks and big synth riffs, he for sure brings his very A-game to us here and we are more than pleased with this on to. 

The closing remix this time comes from the young and Germany bound ace Niklas Grosswald who once again returns to us. He brings on a more laid back and relaxed interpretation, filled with great chord progressions, a superb guitar riff that complement some of the original elements and gives it an awesome feel, so ready for your sets and playlists.

We love the full release and are as excited as ever to hear your thoughts about it of course, we hope you will enjoy it!
