Inspired by the African cassette tapes from my father, I started playing African Disco and Funk in Amsterdam in 2010. After traveling in different continents, I started experimenting with sounds from all over the world. Where I used to play a bit more uptempo, nowadays I am focussing on a deeper and more atmospheric sound. Blending different genres and tempos is something that is appealing to me. From Nigerian funk to Amazon tribe music, everything is possible.

Founded in 2005 by Austrian musicians Max Doblhoff and Michael Schallmayer, Clubcruise Music has become a dynamic force in the world of groove – driven sound. Blending genres like funk, disco, world and house, the label spezialises in electro -acoustic fusion, crafting a unique sonic experience that merges electronic beats with live instrumentation.
