02 Irie Souljah - Who Is The Immigrant

Roots & Chalice is produced in collaboration with New York's Federation Sound and follows Chronixx' debut mixtape Start a Fire, which was done together with Major Lazer's Walshy Fire. Roots & Chalice compiles over 20 tracks and features tracks from previous projects revisited on new beats, current songs that haven't been part of any project and – this is the best part – new original songs exclusive to the mixtape.
Three new songs that are part of Roots & Chalice are now available on Soundcloud. Spanish Town Rockin' is contemporary and conscious Jamaican roots, while Majesty is a slice of vintage Studio One since it's recorded over Otis Gayle's marvelous I'll Be Around. Sell My Gun is produced by Teflon leans more towards dread dancehall.

All three tracks bodes well for Chronixx debut album slated for release in mid-2016, a set that will be accompanied by a worldwide tour together with his band Zincfence Redemption.

It seems like we are all in constant search of the "Good Life." Between work, family, and bills, life can get hectic and it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. Sometimes it's necessary to step back, take some time for yourself, let loose and appreciate what you have. Creating music has always been an outlet for me to express myself and free up. I hope this song and my music can be an escape for you as well.

"Good Life" and most of the album were produced by my good friend and one of my favorite producers of all time Supa Dups. Not only has he produced some of my best tracks ("Blind To You Haters," "Tomorrows Another Day," "Sensimilla") but he is also responsible for some huge recent hits: Drake "Controlla," Drake ft. Rihanna "Too Good."

My new album is called Good Life and it is now available for pre-order on my website colliebuddz.com. The album will be released worldwide on May 19th! This is my first independent release and being fully hands on in all aspects of the process has been amazing. Good Life as an album is a reflection of my life the last 10 years. Ultimately it is about perspective, perseverance and working towards a solution.

I have been blessed with the best fans in the world who have supported me for years and been patiently waiting for new music. I'm really excited to unveil this project to them and I'm already working on the next one.

Anthony B - Chill Out | Cali Roots Riddim 2020 (Prod. By Collie Buddz)

Biography:

Sweden, may not be your first choice to find one of Dancehall’s top contending producers, but to Andreas Nilsson, it fits perfectly.

As a child of the eighties, growing up on a small island ("Sollerön" in Dalarna) in Sweden, music became one if Andreas most avid companiosn. At the age of seven Andreas received his first synthesier/sampler, launching a lifelong passion into music production.

By highschool, Andreas (already known as Adde, from a childhood nickname), was already deep into music production. Testing the waters of his musical abilities, Andreas began deejaying, infusing his own creations within his sets.  in 2003, with the success of his productions, Andreas moved to Stockholm, Sweden and received his audio engineering diploma in 2005.

While Andreas credits all genres of music as influence, his muse can be found within Dancehall and hiphop. In 2011, Adde Instrumentals created the riddim for Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel’s biggest hit of the year, “Summer Time”, which was accompanied by Popcaan’s hit “Ravin”. Both singles received numerous international nods, weeks of #1 charting, and radio rotation; however, it was Kartel’s nomination for the 2011 Soul Train Awards that not only solidified Adde as a contender but garnered respect in the Dancehall community.

Adde Instrumentals also produced the instrumentals to several other hits for Vybz Kartel such as “Bike Back”, "Open Up", “Bubble Hard”  and “Dedication” which are all onfeatured on “Amsterdam EP”. Recently Adde built the "Summer Wave riddim" for TJ Records, a riddim which featured the huge hit "When mi party" by Popcaan,  "Corner Shop riddim" with JR Blender for 21St Hapilos productions, "Happy Daze riddim" for Fras Twinz, "Sweet Sounds riddim" with So Shifty,  "BBQ riddim" and is working on lots of upcoming riddims  and singles.
A strong believer in the quote, “Actions speak louder than words”, Andreas Nilsson (Adde Instrumentals), lets the music speak for him as he continues on his journey to create and share great music, touching the lives of artists and fans.
