Addictive Behaviour continue to bring in new elements to their 2018 line-up as they build on what is looking to be a promising year for the London based label. This time drawing in talents from Italian production trio Invadhertz who lay down an intricate display of merciless beatz for their 5 track debut EP entitled Darkroom. What's more, they're supported by formidable UK acts, with vocals from the lyrical g; MC Gusto and a remix from the mighty Zero T.

"Darkroom" does what it says on the cover, absorbing you into a basement of intimating basslines and intricate percussion, infused with sinister undertones throughout. MC Gusto brings the vibes with his succinct vocals in "Battle Lines" building the pressure with vibrant catchy hooks. "Nothing more" transcends into even darker realms with its convulsing twisted basslines, followed by "Bison" with a reverberating & relentless rhythm. And to finish Zero T orchestrates his wondrous technical abilities with his "Battle Lines (Remix)" topping off an all-round solid EP.

Addictive are pulling out all the stops this year, drafting in diverse new talents and picking up the pace with their supporting events. This release will be launched officially on the 23rd March at Work Bar with Invadhertz & MC Gusto delivering a live performance of Battle Lines. Classical business: things don't get much more foundational than Marvellous Caine's original IQ imprint. Home to a whole gamut of gully slingers between 1994 - 95, here the label reflects on some of the label's many original jungle and hardcore conquests. And considering the label was only in operation for two years, it had many conquests including a very early outing from Andy C and Ant Miles under their Desired State alias ("Hello Lover (Remix)"), early cuts from Dillinja ("Sax Into The Night") and DJ Hype with his own remix of "Hello Lover". Elsewhere we can physically hear the tempo rising with cuts like Back 2 Basic's string-sizzled "Oh Yeah" and of course Captain Caine himself under his Badman guise. What a history lesson!

The Legends vs. Legends series returns with its third installment, this time pitting Sublove against Hyper-On Experience!

The A-side sees Hyper-On Experience turn in a stellar rework of Sublove's Vexation from KF121, while on the flip Sublove has a go at Hyper-On Experience's Vibrations, from KF083. 

Not gonna lie, I love these releases. Hearing two amazing, legendary oldskool artists remix each other in 2020 is.....magic.
