The Echelon Effect came to life amid the long winter nights of February 2009, born from a burning desire to fall in love with music again. It started with a laptop and an idea: write a track, and make it huge. But one track became four, an EP that needed an audience. The tracks were posted on MySpace. And people began to listen.

‘Leaving It Behind’ was followed by two more EPs and remixes for The Appleseed Cast and City Breathing. Word spread, and the tracks began to attract positive reviews and gather airplay. What had begun as a way to stave off the dark and the cold had turned into something more.

The Echelon Effect’s debut full-length, ‘Reunion’, was the final part of a quartet of recordings that form ‘Wires and Tapes,’ an 141-minute sequential loop of tracks, each bleeding into the next and the last into the first. As a thank-you to the people who had been instrumental in the evolution of the Echelon Effect, fans were invited to record spoken statements about what home meant to them, which were incorporated into the album’s title track.

More remixes followed, for God Is An Astronaut, Codes In The Clouds, Our Ceasing Voice, Good Weather For An Airstrike and EVOLV among others. In March 2010 The Echelon Effect began work on ‘Mosaic’, their second full-length, featuring the addition of Steve T on drums, it was released on August 9th 2010.

Pushing forward a new project in which the entire year of 2011 is depicted in film. The audio to this being released throughout the year in four EP's. Part 1 was released on 18th April. 

KUBIK is the brainchild of FX.ADAM.J http://soundcloud.com/vladvamp and LUSIMERS http://soundcloud.com/deluciva , they were childhood friends who have the same musical taste. They are combining elements of darkwave, heavy metal and electronica. Their music has re-defined the alternative music scene, as it stated in local newspapers as a band who changed the face of Indonesias music in the mid-90s. With the release of their most anticipated album in 2004, Velvet Words And Lies, they got a great review from the fans and the music media. Velvet Words And Lies, is a beauty of vindictive bile, a self-inflicted bruise and with modern textures of electronic music they create dark rock songs that are brimming with soulful emotion. No matter how complex the instrumentation or how unusual the sounds are, the music makes the songs easily accessible and intensely enjoyable.


In February 1999, three longtime friends from West Texas went to a pizza place in Austin, Texas, for a prearranged meeting with a young man from Illinois. The Illinoisan had just moved to Austin, and he had put up a flyer that caught the interest of the others. They ate pizza and discussed movies and arcana. They also decided to meet the next day with their various instruments (two guitars, bass, and drums). This happened, and over the coming months they picked a band name, then picked a better band name, then wrote and recorded an album. That album, called How Strange, Innocence, was largely out of tune, but the band members didn't really notice at the time. They optimistically printed 300 copies, and gave most of them away. It turned out they really liked playing together, so they kept doing so. A friend of theirs sent a recording of one of their live shows to a record label in Baltimore, and that label offered to put out albums for the band. The band agreed.
