Bio:
To deejaying I came via detours on the Way of St. James, in the summer of 2012. I mixed the tracks that accompanied me on my journey to create a DVD with memories in the form of pictures and videos. This is how my first Ableton Mix was created. In those days I was not aware of the potential behind this program. In the years before I produced my own tracks without any success. At nights I listened the same beat hours for hours. First live sets were created. But they never lived up to my expectations. What I like to hear is rare. The one beat where every note has its place. Crystal clear and driving.

Electronic music has always been an integral part of my life. In the 80s, influenced by my daddy and his love for Revox & Technics. The "Neue deutsche Welle" ran up and down. I like the sound of the synthesizers. Pink Floyd was always there acoustically. When Culture Beat, Snap and U96 appeared on the scene, I was finally influenced by my current music style. Enigma. Completely new tones. I am just thinking back to the time when I recorded mixtapes with my double cassette deck. The Hessentag '95 with Mark Spoon and Sven Väth comes to my mind. Or the annual live broadcast of Energy on Swiss radio. Even back then there were such incredibly cool sets and pieces. In school we dealed with tapes of the past weekends. Broadcaster like Evosonic, BBC Radio One and Sputnik now broadcast techno regularly. The clubnights with Talla, Taucher & DJ DAG were the non plus ultra. For me there was no other form of audible music.

With the first CD compilations like Trancemaster and Rave Mission I finally started to play in the late 90s. On 99 Penny events. A funny time. But I decided to celebrate. For listening. For the Rave.

The Millennium Energy was legendary. To celebrate the Love Parade in Berlin with one million people, unforgettable. Mayday and Sonne Mond Sterne Festival-just amazing. In the years around 2000, things got really intense. I left almost nothing out. Schranz! I miss the good old days a little bit, like dancing the soul out of your body on Sunday mornings at Nature One with DJ DAG. We're poisoned.

Thanks to internet and flatrate I only listened to Frisky Radio via iTunes. A completely new era. Via eDonkey there was sound for download. I simply didn't need anything else to satisfy my desire for good music. Sasha's first "Involver" album was the decisive factor for my style today. From now on, digital purity was in the foreground. For me, this music has become a way of life. The older I became, the more intense. That's how I sometimes have the feeling. What makes me especially happy is that techno has grown up with me.

Biography

Interstate is a 19 year old from Malta. Since he was 10 he started the base fundamentals of music in guitar and piano but he knew it wasn't his type of music and he started exploring genres, until he found himself truly in the melodic techno genre and now he is willing to show his passion trough his music to the world .

Karo V. is Belgian DJ and producer based in Brussels.

She started her passion in the late 90's.

Today, she’s mainly inspired from Deep House and Tech House with always a sensible melodic touch. As a DJ her music is known for the unique sounds and sensual atmosphere.

Playing music as a DJ made her want to create her own music and she dived into the fabulous world of music production.
The music she plays behind the turntables is for sure a source of inspiration and she expresses her feelings into warm melodic patterns and she really tries to find the right sounds and melodies.
From chill out music to tech house, she is a very versatile producer.

“An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.

Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...

After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ (2020-2023), he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element.

For over 130 episodes spreading over 3 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing daily.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Andhera’, which translates to ‘darkness’ in Sanskrit. With every Full Moon or Solar Eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

An artist, hand-picked by himself, whom he highly admires, respects and who empowers and understands techno’s dark, ambient and emotional side.⁠

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.
