Started of as an humble underground producer, making analog music from his parents cellar, not knowing that one day he would gain the support of the biggest artists in the scene such as Solomun, Laurent Garnier - Magdalena - Goldfox - Fideles - Undercatt - Kevin de vries - Innellea - Wally lopez and many others.

After a break in the 2000's, he closely and carefully prepared a comeback in 2020.
Armed with an even deeper and more refined understanding of his craft, he has signed with two big international labels. His comeback EP was released at the start of 2020 and showcases Nicko’s latest boundary-bending evolution of his signature genres.

Soul-stirring soundscapes and venomously synth-dripped hooks roar through dancefloors far and wide. Thousands of party-goers continue to get hooked on the fresh, techno-infused stylings of one of Belgium's most promising underground DJs and producers.

“An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.

Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...

After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ (2020-2023), he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element.

For over 130 episodes spreading over 3 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing daily.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Andhera’, which translates to ‘darkness’ in Sanskrit. With every Full Moon or Solar Eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

An artist, hand-picked by himself, whom he highly admires, respects and who empowers and understands techno’s dark, ambient and emotional side.⁠

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.
