Our next guest is a DJ and musician who fills the dance floor with the spirit of mysticism and harmony. The Svarog project began its existence in 2014, with a release on the Spanish label Circular limited. Since then, the artist has released a lot of music on top labels of the genre, such as Semantica, Dynamic Reflection, Affin, Nachtstrom Schallplatten and others. He performed in almost all countries of the continent, at famous venues and clubs.

His music dives you into a hypnotic atmosphere, sometimes with epc or dramatic accents. Landscape textures and saturated timbres in the tracks create a magical flow, forcing the listener to dive deep into dance or meditation.

Modern and futuristic sounds, far from trendiness and simplicity, aesthetics, harmony and a bit of mysticism from the heart to all intelligent dancefloors out there.

The Full Moon of May, also called 'the flower-Moon', is in the optimistic sign of Sagittarius. Typical themes for the Sagittarius are 'enthusiasm, philosophy, travel, everything is about expanding and expansion. Expanding your knowledge, your dreams, your opportunities, your experiences,...

I’m not really one to make New Year’s resolutions. Instead, I prefer to look back at what I’ve achieved in the past year—the things I’m proud of or the lessons I’ve learned. You never know what the future holds, but you can always learn from the past.

Every year, I feel like I say this, but this year really was the craziest one yet. I’m beyond proud of what I’ve accomplished in my music career. The community that Distant and my music have built is just incredible. You’re all so beautiful and kind—a whole new family I never knew I had.

On a personal level, though, one of the most important things this year was finding a new sense of direction. Earlier this year, I felt pretty lost—unsure of where I wanted to go or how to get there. I had to dig deep to find both a reason and an answer. Now, I feel like I have a destination, a place I want to reach, and I’m genuinely excited about the journey ahead.

In the spirit of learning from the past, this month’s episode has a special nostalgic note to kick off the new year. It’s a way to start fresh while honouring where we’ve come from. I hope you enjoy it, and I wish you all the best health and happiness in the year ahead <3

“An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.

Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...

After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ (2020-2023), he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element.

For over 130 episodes spreading over 3 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing daily.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Andhera’, which translates to ‘darkness’ in Sanskrit. With every Full Moon or Solar Eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

An artist, hand-picked by himself, whom he highly admires, respects and who empowers and understands techno’s dark, ambient and emotional side.⁠

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.
