DJ dood is a vibrant force in Vancouver's electronic scene, known for her high-energy blend of house, progressive house, and techno. Weaving cheeky vocals with groovy basslines, she pays homage to the classics while keeping things fresh and fun. She has supported artists like Prosumer, DJ Boring, Brawther, and Cinthie, made her Bass Coast debut in 2024, and launched her party series, dood's dancefloor, along with Full House, a collaboration with Max Ulis. Outside of the booth she’s the Program Manager for Public Disco, a pop up party series featuring unique urban spaces and line ups. Open-format DJ and improvisational live act playing primarily for queer and freaky audiences. My sets are built around the specific context, audience, time and place of each gig––spanning techno, "idm", broken beat, dnb, bass, house, "latin club", guaracha, cumbia, post-punk, "ambient music" and more.   I am also an artist that creates films, multi-channel installations, sound design & scoring for moving image, and uplifting queer DIY music events and nightlife spaces through the @dyspheric-x platform and collaborations with other queer collectives.
