UK DJ and producer, Hot Since 82, makes his long-overdue return to Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records this month with brand new single, ‘Rise’. Without a doubt, one of the most respected DJs in the industry, Hot Since 82 has released on some of the biggest labels in the scene including Moda Black, Truesoul, Moon Harbour, Domino and own imprint Knee Deep In Sound, alongside headlining shows at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals and having his tracks continually supported across Radio 1, finding favour with Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Annie Mac. New single, ‘Rise’ truly reflects Hot Since 82’s signature sound, infused with crisp and energetic percussion, chunky drums, hypnotic vocals, huge synth stabs, an epic breakdown and an infectious bassline.

Warmer than it’s ever sounded before, the new Glowcast remaster comes complete with remixes from Matthias Tanzmann and Fango. Originally released in 2012 as part of Soma’s own 20 year anniversary, Tanzmann squeezes every ounce of soul possible from the percussion elements while Italian Fango gives ‘Right On Right On’ a right old shoeing with a massive lolloping disco bassline, marching pianos and an injection of funk positivity 2020 has sorely missed so far.

Berlin-based producer and DJ Kevin Huizing, aka Budakid, returns to Anjunadeep with the release of ‘Surga’, alongside a percussion-laden remix from UK-based producer Joseph Ashworth.

Budakid pairs the mesmeric vocals of dutch singer Esther Veen with breakbeat drums and atmospheric sound design, demonstrating why he’s gained support from heavyweights such as Solomun, Jazzanova, Sasha, Joris Voorn, Guy J, Kölsch and Deadmau5. 

Following his recent Anjunadeep release ‘Kira EP’, Joseph Ashworth now puts his spin on ‘Surga’, intertwining intricate melodies with bold piano chords and carefully crafted synths.
