Glasgow based Fernie has been immersing himself in the local scene since 2002 taking influences from the city's many techno stalwarts holding residences at a number of the areas key venues allowing him to hone his style over the years.
He provides both deep and driving hypnotic sets full of energy and soaring pads. This same ethos is relayed through his own productions which have seen release across a wide selection of respected labels.
Most recently he continues to develop his own Space Textures imprint facilitating the release of some of the finest atmospheric techno on offer. He also works with the influential Norway based Monument group to deliver podcasts and streams from artists around the globe.

— Artist Intro —

Joachim Spieth is a German DJ, music producer and label owner who emerged musically in the late nineties and has since developed a multi-faceted spectrum of sound between the poles of ambient and spherical techno. Characteristic for his work is the attention to detail and a sensitive sensorium for the creation of atmospheres, which one can hardly escape, no matter if this takes place in his studio work or in his performances.

After several years of intensive collaboration with Wolfgang Voigt’s Kompakt imprint, he founded his own label, Affin, in 2007, which has been constantly developing ever since and has made a name for itself internationally. Besides quite a few EP’s and collaborations, he has released a number of albums in the past years such as Irradiance, Tides, Ousia, Terrain as well as the recently released Reshape projekt, which features variations of his music tracks by Alva Noto, ASC, bvdub and others. In addition to the albums, the Textures Sound Library series was created, which impressively document Spieth’s musical development. As a DJ, Joachim Spieth has been performing in more than 30 countries all over the world. He’s driven by an absolute devotion to music and his pleasure to share it.

Ronny Pinazza (@ronny_pinazza) tries to convey the feeling of the infinite timelessness of the soul of nature with music in an understandable language. His DJ sets are always driving, ritualistic. Natural sounds and hypnotic melodies allow the listener to reach another state of consciousness. His productions are experimental, unorthodox. Hypnotic rhythms and driving beats characterize his tracks, always filled with natural sounds. The listener is transported in a space that seems to exist between the stars. Deep in his heart he believes in infinity and that time and space are only imaginations. His goal is to express these inner feelings with music, so in 2021 he set out to develop his musical language. Ronny Pinazza has released 2 EPs on Cellar Door records, EP and single on MDivision Group Records. Collaborated on VAs on Indefinite Pitch, Initiate Records, Free Palestine Charity VA, Linee Sonore. As we approach the hottest days of the year, a fresh mix has arrived here at our charybdical headquarters. It's great to hear the spheres spinning dynamically again, inhabiting a sonic universe of eclectic energies created by the great artist Morian.

With a rich musical background and relatively new to the scene, he fell in love with the world of Deep and Hypnotic Techno pretty quickly. His talent for building diverse sets with real storytelling qualities did not go unnoticed as he got the chance to create podcasts for many well-known institutions such as Anodynic Frequencies, On the 5th Day, CellarDoor, Melifera, Kvlto Records or Fur:ther Sessions. As a long-time and active supporter of Charybdis, we are of course happy to give him the chance to deliver a mix for our ‘Dynamic Spheres’ podcast series and let him unfold his musical qualities in front of your ears.

Morian's 130bpm mix blends different colours of hypnotism, from dark and eerie to light-flooded and playful, from groovy-psychedelic to spherical and dubby. All this with a cosmic, narrative undertone that couldn't be better suited to teleport you into his very own universe of sound.

dR. Shulgin (Aleksandar Nesic - Serbia) is a DJ and event organizer with deep roots in the Goa and Psychedelic Trance scene.

He has been instrumental in shaping events like Forest Sound and has contributed to the production of Tribal Gathering in Panama. His sets seamlessly blend classic Goa Trance with modern Progressive and Psychedelic Trance, reflecting his ever-evolving sound.

Over the years, he has shared the stage with some of the most renowned Psychedelic Trance artists, performing at festivals such as Aymon Tribal Festival, Zagoa Festival, Aurora Festival, Forest Sound, and Sonica Festival.
