13 birds circling about a quarter mile high in the sky, I’ve never seen so many birds circling so high, there are no robots in sight.  He’s not too friendly but he’s got a heart of gold, at a young age he fell in love with falling in love.  I’ll be  the first to break the silence, the silence that’s been kept as long as it’s taken the river to carve the canyon, the canyon between you and me.  You bought a black and white color chart with blood money, I’m talk-in money from the blood bank.  Driving up a one way road, cursing at everyone as you go, trees look like broccoli in a miniature world.  And now it’s five o’clock Thursday afternoon and Friday’s in the air.

A song about making a change and bringing positivity to the people you bring into your circle and them not doubting your reasoning for doing this. Growing together to be come stronger. 
If we describe a situation as a virtuous circle, you mean that once one good thing starts happening, other good things happen, which cause the first thing to continue happening.  
Back in the 90s this was the title of my bands debut album The Virtue Circle yet we never made a song out of the title but I have now ! 
Noobly send me this  fantastic instrumental and I had the easy job of writing lyrics and vocal melodies that matched his great work.

First, I would like to say thank you for reading this. That means that you liked my songs enough to see what I’m about. That means a lot to me.
I’m a working man and a family man. The years digging ditches and breaking my back to put food on the table, has given me enough ammo to write a song or two. I like to write songs about real life with all of its struggles, beauty and grit…

In this digital age of perfect music I'm trying to leave the human imperfections in the tracks. Most parts are done straight through with no splices. A missed note or chord here or there, bit out of time...trying to keep it raw. Maybe I go too far sometimes?
